We used this as it is a park and ride place for Amsterdam. It is actually really convenient and useful to get into the city. Tram stop right outside the stadium and not far into town. Lovely statues to look at here as well.

This P+R is in a convenient location coming from the South of Amsterdam. It can get busy quickly, on our second visit we had to queue for ~10 minutes. The buses to the centre are conveniently located and frequent. Amsterdam P+R are a bit strict on checking in and out (need to take the bus within an hour and on... More

We drove from the Hook of Holland, and access to the stadium is good, being close to the motorway network. However, local to the stadium, road signage is misleading, and we took several tours of the stadium following signs which led us the wrong way, and disappeared, before we ignored them and looked for the entrance ourselves. We travel a... More

I go Amsterdam a now and then to visit family. It's is 12 hour drive from where I live in France, I always take the car and following recommendations I usually use the Olympic Stadium and the P&R offer. Until this year, you got the P&R ticket from a guy in the car park who properly explained how to use... More

Parking in Amsterdam is expensive and difficult. This is a great place to park if you are visiting Amsterdam. If you park at the stadium and take the tram (Stop is right in front of the station) into and out of the city you only pay one Euro per day up to 96 hours! Make sure that you "Check In"... More

We wanted to visit downtown Amsterdam and were staying in an airport hotel. We asked the hotel about the park and ride, and they recommended it. However, it turned out to be a disaster. We found the facility and pulled in, receiving a parking ticket. You then had to take the ticket to a machine to get your transit pass.... More

It is one of National monuments of the Netherlands. It was a pride of Amsterdam to have this stadion that was special built for the Summer Olympics in 1928. It's still used for a big sport events like 'Amsterdam Marathon' but also for concerts, one of them was 'Leonard Cohen'. Further there is actually nothing to see.The location is in... More

The Olympic Stadium is a popular P+R parking facility. Nevertheless, the absurdly complex tariffs and conditions makes that tourists end up paying 30€ instead of the 1€ they advertise (you have to buy a public transport ticket, keep it and validate it back, otherwise they charge you full tariff). The staff is rude and unhelpful, they feel annoyed by anyone... More
