Description: Private Holland Tours is specialized in affordable private guided tours...
Private Holland Tours is specialized in affordable private guided tours for active singles, couples, families and small groups. I heartily welcome travelers from all countries of the world. My walking tours in Amsterdam often depart from the usual tourist routes, showing you the medieval city. Driving through the countryside I usually take the small scenic roads, thus giving you a better sense of Holland's rural environment.Professionalism, care and fun, plus my friendship are the cornerstones of my tours.Raymond Vandenburg, private driver/guide.

I found Ray on Trip Advisor, and asked for a tour that would include seeing a working windmill (old wooden type), and getting a sense of the land reclamation and control of water resources that have been done in the Netherlands. He planned the tour for us. Ray took us to a place that allowed us to see how the... More

Dear Carol, I'd liked to show you several sites about the reclamation. Schokland was a surprise; I learned even more about the struggle of the Dutch against the water. Thank you for the review and composing this wonderful itinerary. Regards, Ray Vandenburg More

Ray picked the four of us right on time at our hotel and had the whole day planned with everything we requested per our e-mail correspondence. He was able to pack everything into the day including a FABULOUS lunch spot. In the car Ray kept us and the girls entertained with trivia and stories about the country. Ray even diverted... More

Ray is a grumpy old man pretending to be a tour guide with no professional guide training, totally lacks any reasonable touring aptitude. His bad attitude and general unpleasant behavior conveyed nothing but his utmost unwillingness and reluctant to be a tour guide. He was a rude person, at one point commanding my lady friend saying sorry to him for... More

Leo was our wonderful guide who provided insight into the life of the country while we visited the tulip fields, Delft factory, and windmills as well as a deliciuos lunch at a Pancake Restaurant. He never made us feel rushed and had all arrangements in place so there was no waiting. I hated to see the day come to an... More

Four of us from Hawaii were thrilled with our day tour with Ray! When we were planning the trip by e-mail, he made suggestions as to which attractions we should add to our focus on tulips and Kuekenhof Gardens. We really enjoyed the cheese factory, shoe-making demonstration, "traditional" Dutch pancake lunch, and a visit to Monnickendam, a picturesqe historic fishing... More

We spent a great day with Ray in the Dutch countryside north of Amsterdam. He made a special effort to take us to the hometown of our ancestors and then continued to show us the North Sea, other small towns,a cheese factory, and of course windmills. We could not have asked for better guide and at the end of the day... More

We had great day with Ray touring the Keukenhof Gardens, windmills and flower fields. If we could only do one thing on our trip, Ray's tour of Keukenhof Gardens would be the choice. The gardens are truly magnificent. And Ray personally escorted us through the garden, making it so much easier to appreciate the flowers. The entire trip gave us glimpses of The Netherlands that would be difficult to do on your own, since... More
