Rolf is an amazing tour guide. He led me, my husband and 4 children on an educational and thoughtful tour of Amsterdam. He was great with the kids and very good at keeping them entertained and interested. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Rolf is amazing. He is so knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. We asked for a customized tour including historical information including WWII and he did such a great job! We would highly recommend him without any reservations.

Had a wonderful time with Rolf! Brought my parents and I for a bike tour around Amsterdam and its outskirts. We enjoyed ourselves as the tour was very insightful and relaxed. I especially enjoyed the outskirts of Amsterdam as it is not something that I thought of doing and I would not know how to get there by myself.

We went to Amsterdam with University and had two groups doing the bycicle tour with Rolf. Everybody was happy with it. It was a really exciting tour and Rolf was very friendly. I can really recommend doing the tour with Rolf! :)

Our company worked with Rolf Schreuder for a business meeting we had in Amsterdam during a tradeshow in September 2014. We wanted our guests--most of whom had visited the city numerous times before--to experience more than just the convention center, and to have a bit of cultural, humor, and energy injected into an otherwise dry business meeting. We had some... More

We spent a day with Rolf on the Polder, Dykes and Windmills Tour. We saw parts of the countryside north of the city that we would not have toured on our own. Rolf is very knowledgeable and made the tour very entertaining. We even had lunch in a beautiful village called Broek in Waterland. We took three different ferries and... More

My friend and I engaged Rolf to take a tour of the Van Gogh Museum and were greeted by this lovely gentleman who helped us to not only "breathe in" the experience but was warm, funny and charming along the way! He taught us so much about Van Gogh and the Impressionists of which I was not aware...and I majored... More

We are in our early 60's and have not cycled much until recently. While on a river cruise during the height of tulip season, we had the opportunity to take a bike tour of Amsterdam. We were greeted at the pier by Rolf and his assistant ( Alissa ?). Both were professionally dressed, friendly and eager to acclimate us to... More

We had a on day tour with Rolf and our experience was absolutely positive! In our opinion Rolf speaks extremely good English (for us to whom it is not our first language it makes things easier), has a good sense of humor and undoubtedly good knowledge about the city. And as it has been written here already, feels his audience... More

Neighborhood Profile
Eastern Docklands (Oostelijk Havengebied)
A visit to Amsterdam’s Eastern Docklands presents the opportunity to marvel at its many modern architectural masterpieces like the Openbare Bibliotheek Amsterdam and the beguiling Python Bridge while taking in its scenic waterfront with its trendy assortment of cafés, restaurants, bars, and clubs. Here in this post-industrial (though in some parts still very much presently industrial) neighborhood, you’ll find a smart selection of cool galleries and shops as well as the kid-friendly Science Center NEMO and the National Maritime Museum.
