I have been into this shop twice, I have never actually brought anything but I love looking around at the toys and home interiors that would not have looked out of place in a home some 30-40 years ago. You must pay a visit if your in the neighbourhood.

This shop is a lovely little place to spend all your euros whilst visiting Amsterdam. Lots of homemade creations with a unique twist that other shops do not have. I would recommend buying gifts for people here instead of cheap and unoriginal usual tourist gift shops. Next time I visit Amsterdam I will be returning here to again view some... More

By far this is the best store i have been to here in Amsterdam. Everything is so colourful, fun and quirky. I wanted to buy everything in the store, they sell rolls of mexican oil clothes so you can make your own bags, table bloth etc, they also sell pre-made oil cloth items. A lot of their stock is for... After the walk to get here we were very pleased to find it open on a Sunday. The store itself is a riot of colour with the oilcloth bags being a particular highlight. There is also colourful oilcloth available for purchase by the metre for the crafty types. While not all the items for sale are practical they are pretty... More

Didn't find much of interest there, but a weird, quirky store that's fun. Worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood looking for gifts.

Although much more expensive than what you will find at the street markets, the bicycle bags are so colorful and large - and despite a somewhat high price, still a lot less expensive than what you can buy in the US and way more fun. I bring these back for my friends everytime i visit. We also have lunch boxes and... More

Want a useful souvenir from Amsterdam? And one that customs won't confiscate! (Note: export quality bulbs and seeds sold at flower markets cannot be brought back to US, many sellers will not tell you this) Then go to Kitsch Kitchen; the bike bags are very functional and a beautiful way to remember your trip for years to come!

Just walking into this store put a smile in face. You are at once assualted with many bright happy colors. From there, everywhere you look is a bright colorful and kitschy item. I especially loved all the Latin American Religious items. I wish I lived in Amsterdam so I could decorate my home from here. In fact, I went there... More
