Beautiful architecture and a lovely atmosphere, whether you're strolling around or taking a boat! My parents (in their 50s) are convinced people only go to Amsterdam for partying, but I'm trying to convince them to go as they would love wandering around this beautiful city! More

Of the semicircular canals, Prinsengracht is the most interesting architecturally. The highlights include the Westerkerk, Anne Frank's house and many quaint merchant's town houses.
