We did the cheese tasting and canal cruise package (40 euro for two people). We tasted six delicious cheeses with wine pairings and ended up buying some cheese to take back home. Very knowledgeable staff and very good cheese!

The presentation was nice and I learned some interesting history of the area as well as facts about keeping cheese fresh. The wine pairings were also nice. Lovely environment. I felt a bit rushed however. Would have liked a bit more diversity in the ages of the cheeses presented as well. For the price and the experience, it was fine.... More

Although I did not experience the full tasting room event, I spent quite some time in the front store experiencing the quality and different cheeses offered by this location. I was particularly impressed by the aged cheeses (1+ years) and the body/flavor of the offered cheeses. I will definitively come back to go to the tasting room, as I understand... More

I was really looking forward to the cheese tasting and was not disappointed. It's probably best to book in advance as the spaces fill out quite quickly. You go downstairs where the guide explained about cheese maturation (Reypenaer doesn't make cheese, only matures it). She was very funny and friendly and answered all questions. We had 6 different cheeses to... More

what an excellent way for a group of friends or a couple to spend 90 minutes? You get to taste a selection of local cheeses that are matched perfectly with wines and ports. At only €15 per person this proved great value for money. The staff were all really friendly and knowledgeable and made everything really personal. You also got... More

Went there without booking and were informed that the cheese tasting experience was full. No matter, we conducted our own tasting session in the shop, trying out all the excellent cheeses on display there. Incredible tastes and textures, wonderful staff, and a good opportunity to get a couple of great gifts. Will definitely return.

This is one of the many hidden pearls in Amsterdam. Very well organized like a real classroom of cheese tasting students. I personally found it nice and entertaining;. 6 different qualities of cheese will be presented and through smelling, tasting and touching them you will start to understand a bit more about this complicated process. Wine is also offered and... More

We took the tasting class (in english) which was much fun and informative! We've tasted about 6 types of cheese along 3 types of wine. You really get ALOT of cheese tasting during the class so do now worry about it :) The class takes about an hour and afterwards you can buy some cheese at the store with a... More

Spent a weekend in Amsterdam with a friend, what a wonderful place to visit! The cheese tasting was entertaining, the man taking the session was hilarious and really got everyone in the spirit of being cheese experts! The session was taken in English by request as everyone spoke English. Would really recommend this! Cheese and wine, best combination and well... More
