Did this for a laugh - but to be honest it was very interesting and gave me better knowledge of Cheese & the maturing process.

This was a great experience and I recommend it to everyone. The cheese shop is in a great location and the shop itself is simple and sophisticated. The tasting room is laid out nicely and was set up for our scheduled tasting. Our 'cheese guide', Anne, was pleasant, relaxed, and humorous and she expertly guided us through the experience. And... We're not really cheese experts, but we really enjoyed this cheese tour. You sample 6 cheeses, 2 goats cheese and different ages of Reypenaer. The guide shows you how to try them by looking at the colour of the cheese, smelling and tasting, and telling you what smells and tastes to look out for. He also tells you what to... More

Well worth doing, even if you've only a mild interest in cheese. Comfortable, fun and with really good cheese (and some wine as well). Nice respite from museums and other attractions. Just the right length, well delivered.

A fun way to learn about cheese and delicious to boot. Make sure you book into the guided tasting, it is well worth it. Lovely friendly staff and the most delicious Gouda just loved the VSOP and XO.

We had a little bit of spare time in Amsterdam and decided to book in for a Cheese and Wine tasting class. We had a great time finding out more about Cheese and the Wines that should be drunk with each cheese. Recommend it to anyone. Ron was a lot of fun. Ate way to much cheese as well, sorry... More

My husband and I were looking to do something different during our recent trip to Amsterdam. My husband found that the cheese tasting class on TripAdvisor got high reviews, so we decided to join. We didn't really know much about cheese, so we found the class highly educational. The wine pairing was the fun part. LOL. I also appreciated the... More

What else can I say? This was a great, delicious activity that I absolutely enjoyed during my visit to Amsterdam in the spring of 2015. Friendly, knowledgable and helpful staff guide the tasting, the cheese is unique and delicious and absolutely worth the 15-euro price! Highly recommend.

I'm always looking to understand the food and culture when I travel. I was excited to find an experience that would educate me about the great cheeses of the Netherlands as well as be a fun and tasty experience. I was not disappointed by the Reypenaer tasting. A knowledgeable host, great cheese and generous pour on the beverages made for... More

( I LOVE CHEESE!!! ) It was really neat learning about the different varieties of cheese that come from one place. The wine pairing is always nice. The hostess was funny and educated, she made the entire experience very fun. If you have a little time to spare and love cheese; I would highly recommend checking it out. Book earlier... More
