Even on a cold grey day it is a lovely space. The city center feels so small and cozy. We wondered where the folks with dogs let them run. At this park. It is next to the Van Gough museum so walk a few extra feet and check it out.

It is a beautiful place to sit and contemplate and people watch. A bit disappointed with the the shabby tea rooms, not as good as expected.

Wonderful park - reminiscent of Central Park in Manhattan. Trees, grass, bike riding, jogging, dog walking, carriage strolling, and peace - all there to take in, to be part of, or to just relax with while watching. A couple of nice places where you can get a hot beverage in winter or a cool one in summer - have a... More

It's so quiet and beautiful, great for chilling, reading a book or just riding your bike. Enjoy the silence in the center and watch the birds and flowers, they are beautiful!

This is such a great park. It's is huge and serves as a great place to go for a quiet walk to get away from the business of the city. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed walking here, watching all the dogs and enjoying the beautiful trees. There are kids play areas too if you are travelling with children. If... More

Great park, with so many good sculptures and a really amazing cafe with reasonably priced food (best goats cheese salad!)

Vondelpark is the largest park in Amsterdam and a must see if you are in the city. The park offers you the chance to simply walk around and soak it all in, a welcome break from the go-go-go mentality that you often feel the need to have when travelling

if you are visiting and are looking for some peace and greenery this is a perfect place to visit. There are some nice drink stalks and a small cafe in the park which offer great refreshments.
