It was a quite spacious park located in the city and close to several well-known tourist spots. It's worth to visit after a tiring day in Amsterdam just to relax.

When you get tired of the city noise - spend a few hours here on foot or by biking. Already in early April there are several flowers and trees blooming, you have water and fountains and you have a birdlife - and a few coffee shops. Easy to reach i.e. by tram number 12. We did this one instead of... More

After my Van Gogh museum visit I have walked 10 minutes and I faced with this gorgeous park area. To rest a while and drink or eat something this park is the best choice. After the hilarious blue and yellow colors of paintings of Van Gogh the nature will help you to relax and enjoy the time in Amsterdam

Magnificent to walk, run, ride. Fabulous part of Amsterdam - early mornings and evenings best as can get very crowded.

Very peaceful large open area quite near the museum district (Museumplein) with lots of nearby hotels so you can take a break from the city noise and relax for a bit. Recommend renting a bike and bringing a picnic lunch. Most likely a spectacular park in April and May.

This was a very nice park, clearly used extensively by the locals. We were looking for the restaurants but became very lost in the myriad of twisting paths and lakes. We saw a lot of the park as a result, but would have appreciated some signage or the occasional map.

Springtime I the park was all about beautiful displays of tulips growing in tubs on the water. People of all ages relaxing in the sunshine. Van Gogh Museum and Rijks Museum as well as the Diamond Museum surround this space.

Great for a cycle or stroll. We enjoyed the calm away from the busy streets and ended up spending much more time there than planned. Be adventurous and explore some of the exits as they take you into interesting residential areas you would not otherwise explore.
