We bought tickets in advance -- highly recommended. Their audio tour was perfect. It allowed you to select an 1 1/2 hour tour of the highlights, a Masters tour, etc. It helped you navigate successfully and see what you wanted to without frustration. The museum area is fun and it is well worth a visit.

The museum had great art and good audio guide. Buying the Museumkaart in advance meant no waiting in line.

We were unable to get tickets for the special exhibit at the Rijksmuseum, which was fantastic. I tried 6 weeks before visiting Amsterdam. Don't miss this museum. Wonderful

The museum is a treasure house and needs a whole day to see it thoroughly. The best was of course Rembrandt's Night Watch, but also other Dutch masters.

This is a must when visiting Amsterdam. The building is a masterpiece itself, I have never seen such a beautiful museum, though I have seen many. The night watch is one of the most important paintings kept here and it really is breathtaking. Rembrandt has created some other masterpieces and his feel for the details is just unbelievable. Take enough... More

Very large and sprawling. Plan what you want to see before you go to get the most out of it. Recommend you download the museum's app to your pad or phone as it will save you 5 euros for the multi-media pack. It is also split into a number of different tours with time frames. Not as many famous paintings... More

This museum is very interesting and you can find the best artworks from the painter most influential from Amsterdam. The museum is very big so you can spend many hours there.
