We had a great windmill, cheese and clogs tour with Allison and Simon! It was nice to get out of the city and see some of the countryside and Allison and Simon provided great info about what we were seeing along the way. The ride was ~20km, but the bikes were great and the terrain was totally flat, so it... More

We took a private tour with Alison, that took us from the busy streets of amsterdam out to an active dairy farm. She is extremely knowledgable about the history of the city (and the country), and was able to answer any question we came up with on pretty much any topic. Her energy level and enthusiasm were so contagious -... More

Hubby and I did the Windmill, Cheese and Clogs tour with Allison and Simon! A great day getting out of the hustle and bustle of the city and seeing another element of the Netherlands! We had various stops along the way and learnt heaps about the history of the country, interesting stuff! Thanks also for the suggestions of the stroopwaffles... More

Such a fun day, and a brilliant way to explore Amsterdam! It's a 14 mile ride, but it really doesn't feel that long! There are a stops along the way at interesting points, Alison is really knowledgeable about Amsterdam and the history of Holland. We did the private tour out into the countryside. The bikes were great, saddles matched to our heights. Allison our guide was super organised and friendly and ended by a rousing rendition of happy birthday in Dutch, I'd turned 40. It was 3hrs and not tiring and bum wasn't sore either! I'd recommend it a lot!

I cannot recommend this tour enough, it was a really beautiful way to see Amsterdam! You get to see the city and some of the countryside which was brilliant. The farm was fantastic (you get to sample some incredible cheese and feed the cows). The tour is really informative and I learnt all sorts of interesting things about Amsterdam that... More

The two of us - a regular cyclist and an extremely lapsed one - loved our Sunday morning trip out to the countryside near Amsterdam. Alison and Simon, our guides, were both super-friendly and had a great insider's knowledge of the city and its surroundings. The sun came out and it was fantastic to bike along the banks of the... We took this country bike tour to get out of the city and see the country side and some traditional windmills after spending 2 days in the city. The tour offers a100% no questions asked guarantee but I guarantee you won't need it! Our tour guide was the owner and she was informative and educational. We stopped every 20 minutes... More

We were the first trip of the season and despite the cold we had a very enjoyable cycle through through the park, out of the city, along the dykes, through the polders, to the farm past the windmill and back. Allison is very knowledgable and was able to give us lots of local history and facts. High recommended. Hat and... More
