I would say this is a typical library for Holland, but if this is your first visit to a Dutch library, you'll not understand. Open space, interesting and futuristic architecture, good lights

Admission is free. Ascend to the 3rd floor and look through old atlases. But in general, everyone will find what he likes. Upstairs La Place where you can eat with a beautiful view of Amsterdam and the Nemo Museum.

This is a very beautiful place in Amsterdam where you can take excellent pictures. There you can read all kind of books and you can admire beautiful views through the glass walls. Ireally recommend you to visit this place.

The library was beautiful and gave a great view of he city. I enjoyed my visit and the lunch I ate on the top floor. I would not go out of my way to see it, but if you are in the area, you should stop in.

Although we were not in the market for books, the library is an interesting building in its own right. At the top floor there are great views of Amsterdam and the waterways that make it what it is.

This library is amazing, I wish I knew dutch so I could read ALL the books they have :) The building is huge. They have PCs with internet, but it's not free and you need to buy a library pass. The view from the last floor is very nice. The Muizenhuis (Mouse House) by Karina Schaapman displayed at the bottom... More
