You'll struggle a find a more romantic thing to do on Valentine's night than this. You get a beautiful view of the city with a really delicious high quality meal. There are very few tables on the boat as well so you still get a nice intimate experience without too many other diners. You even to stop for a kiss... More

Four of us sat at the back of the boat for our 10th and 20th anniversary dinner out. It was a cold and wet evening outside but it was very cosy on board as we cruised up and down the canals. All of the meal was delicious from the pumpkin amuse through to the ripe cheese board. Excellent service aided... More

My boyfriend decided to book the jewel cruise for our anniversary on the day of our arrival to amsterdam. As our flight was delayed we thought we would miss the dinner cruise as we had to be there by 7:15 and flight landed at around 6. Luckily our hotel "The continental" was 5min walking distance. As soon as we got... More

Very nice dinner cruise, get there early and sit near the captain. The reason to sit up front is to ask questions and hear about the area. The dinner cruise isn't a tour but the captain does talk about the area. Skip the premium meal and settle for the middle cost meal. Too much food if you opt for the... More

We had a great dinner cruise and enjoyed the atmosphere a lot. Food is great and served fresh from a restaurant when making a stop. You have a private table. Drink prices are very moderate and wine is good. Staff is very friendly. The captain gave us a warm welcome while boarding. We combined it with a city tour the... More

This is a wonderful cruise through the canals of Amsterdam while you enjoy great food and wine. It is a small boat and the captain is available to answer all of your city questions.

Booked this cruise as part of a wedding anniversary weekend away. I can't emphasise how nice an evening it was from the moment we were welcomed aboard with a glass of champagne. Amsterdam is a beautiful city particularly viewed from the canals and the food was great too. Our hostess Loos was excellent and worked really hard to ensure everyone... More

My wife & I celebrated our tenth anniversary in Amsterdam & this evening is something we will always remember. The crew of 2 were friendly but never overbearing. Proper attentive service. Food was brought to the boat during 2 brief stops. Perfectly served and delicious. I am normally the first person to avoid this type of intimate fine dining experience.... More

Wow...what an amazing tour! Well informed and great way to get to know the Dam! Food was outstanding and well worth everything. We sat near the captain and got a great experience getting to ask questions about the culture, city, and history behind all that makes Amsterdam so great! We recommend without reservation!

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
