A modest collection of minerals, some interesting bones of dinosaurs and mammoths, an entire whale skeleton, some fossils, and many stuffed vertebrate animals. Plus an ice age environment. And information about nature in Noord-Brabant. One whale bone turned out to be of a hitherto unknown species.

He: Is constantly amazed at the quality of the small science museums you find in the cities of the Netherlands. Diverse and interesting collections, ideal for spending a day prowling around and investigating. She: agreed with him, and that we'd have to come back. Note: popular with parents and kids on weekends. :)

Nice museum with a nice collection. Every window in the exposition room has a letter / number combination which can be used to look up "what am i looking at". Very well explained by the friendly hostess.

WOW, WOW, WOW. That's the first impression after i visited this museum. Surprisingly good! Very interactive and very educational. Spent a few hours there, and had an awesome time exploring and reading. Easy access from Tilburg Central Station, within walking distant. Look for VVV sign, and the museum is in the same building.

Had a great morning visiting this museum. Even though most explanations are only in Dutch, it is a great place for children. They can hunt a mammoth, dress up like a dinosaur and walk under a whale skeleton. There are three floors with lots of information about animals, adults will also like it.

This museum is a must when you have children. They must be at least 6. They have all kind of interresting investigations that can be done by the kids. (Also mum and Dad love it to assist). The so called OO zone is a place where the kids can act as an reseracher and discover a lot about nature. Also... More

This really is a nice museum, we spent almost two hours here. It could have been more but my children are a little too young I think (4 and 6). This museum is more for children in the ages 7-13. Which does not mean it is just for children, not at all. We had a discount and paid 17 Euro... More

I was at the museum with a group of my students (Vakschool ISK). They had a great time. And I did as well. :)
