This museum hold art works by artists who lived and worked in the Brabant. So, there are many interesting works by Teniers and Breughel - I like the copy of the painting that purportedly depicts over 100 parables. Many of theseworks can be found on the ground floor in the Yellow and Blue (?) rooms, along with a number of... More

Nice museum. Beautiful building and enough to see. Good combination with the stedelijk museum. I had a great time just strolling along with a good friend. The history of brabant part is very nice. Also great for visiting with kids of all ages.

As a local, I have been to the museum many times. Since the reconstruction a few years ago, when the 'Museumkwartier' was build and the museum joined forces with the Stedelijk Museum 's-Hertogenbosch (SM's) I love it even more: more room for exhibits while still giving the permanent collection the attention it deserve. Don't forget to visit the museum restaurant... More

Depending on the expositions this museum is a nice visit. Garden is wonderful, nice to sit outside when the weather is good.

While the regular collection of the museum is not very impressive (the work of Jan Sluijter, born in Den bosch, is an exception), the various rooms are deliciously restored, and particularly in sunlight are a pleasure to wander around in. And the museum succeeds in organizing exhibitions that make it worth to regularly undertake the trip to Den Bosch.

This was my second visit and I'm still as equally impressed with this building and it's exhibition areas as I was the first time. Built around a courtyard garden the building is a mixture of the original building and very stylish new wings. Services are excellent and a very good shop. Oh, and the exhibitions are worth looking at too!

Contemporary art and classical art together in a beautifull environment. Den Bosch is a wonderfully city, with the cathedral of St John as an absolute acme. A few hundred meters from the cathedral the Noordbrabants museum is situated. A beautifull garden and very nice architecture. Worth visiting!

The museum has recently been modernised, enlarged and improved. In the last couple of years the emphasis has been transferred from traditional and regional art to national and international modern and contemporary work. Well worth a visit.

Light, airy and welcoming, both in its layout and the personnel. Here you will find a well-labelled history of this city and region through art and artefacts, plus changing exhibitions. Spring 2015 sees an eclectic collection on special display including four stunning Hockneys. There are some very atmospheric, brooding Van Goghs. A popular place with local people too, pretty well... We were surprised just how big this museum was, and spent a good few hours viewing the various artwork on display. The building is spacious and, and although it was busy, it wasn't congested. We particularly enjoyed the section on the history of Den Bosch and the van Gogh paintings. The museum has good facilities including a cosy restaurant and... More
