This museum covers the whole natural history of the area of Maastricht: extremely interesting, very good information, beautiful artefacts and nice changing exhibitions. I've been coming here for 6 years and it's never, ever boring. I highly recommend it: also very nice for children, young and old! More

What I liked about the natural history museum was the way it represented the evolution of the area. They had everything from fossils of aquatic dinosaurs to present day animals. Unless you are truly interested in the intricate details of the earth and wildlife of Maastricht, I would not recommend this museum for the average tourist.
