I live in the neighbourhood and find walking in the park relaxing and inspiring. In the park you can see centenary oak trees, beautiful birds and all sorts of people relaxing on the meadows (when the sun is shining).

Park Sonsbeek is a large green space not far from the central train station. It is a great place to stroll and enjoy the many types of birds that are flitting around. The mature beech trees are huge and make for a beautiful forest. The park has a couple of interesting restaurants - Stadsvilla Sonsbeek which is in an old... More

We went there to jog on a Sunday morning. It was really beautiful and quiet (I guess it is due to the time). The landscape is really nice. There are small fountains and generally a nice scenery.

This park is within 5 mins walk of the centre of Arnhem but you can keep walking for miles into the countryside. More managed parts include several lakes and small waterfalls and there are at least three good restaurants and coffe shops with inthe park.

We liked the castle Zuypendaal and the walk along the ponds. Springtime is beginning to show itself.

I went to this park because of the reviews in TripAdvisor. This park is really awesome! Just within a walking distance from the Arnhem station and you can see a big park which is complete. You can find museums, restaurant, and natural views! In the summer it would be a perfect place for picnic. Next summer I definitely will visit... More

I lived very close to Sonsbeek park a few years ago and went there a lot, just to relax and drink something but also to run and get fit and just for a romantic walk through the park. The nature is beautiul in Sonsbeek, especially in autumn or spring seasons. Love to go there as much as possible.

Awesome park ! Its located next to the shopping centre of Arnhem. The walking paths are well marked and taken care off. There is a creek through the park and some artificial waterfalls. There a few places to eat along the way. My wife grow up around here. Each time we are in Netherlands we make a point of just... More
