As always, an immaculately kept cemetery. Very sad to think of all those lost lives and many so very young. As previously mentioned, it is about a 25 minute walk from the Airborne museum.

Beautiful part of the country. A few visitors there at the same time as us from Canada and America. Very interesting to read the short history of some of the military buried there including two or three that won the VC. Just a short walk from the airborne museum

Recently this museum has benefitted from many improvements. As well as recounting the Operation Market Garden situation there is a thread running through it looking at the situation from the viewpoint of three local children and their retrospective assessment of how their lives were changed.a very poignant feature The staff were very helpul

It's a nice walk from the Airborne Museum Hartenstein Oosterbeek to the Airborne Cemetery, probably 3K. I have been to a few military cemeteries, and this one was certainly up to the level of respect I had hoped for. Small, but solemn and dignified, this cemetery is a fitting conclusion to a tour of the military sites around Arnhem. I... More

You can definitely feel the emotions of the war when your standing at the cemetery. Reading some of the ages of the soldiers makes you really appreciate everything they did for us.

Hard to be here, see the names and the ages of these men and not feel the loss. Every one of them has a story, and a catastrophic moment in a families lives. The announcement that the son will not come home, sadly we understand.

This impressive cemetery is very nicely landscaped with many flowers and well maintained. The cemetery is visited by people who visit the Battle of Arnhem (A Bridge Too Far). At the entrance are dozens of Polish graves. These men also should not be forgotten.

Easily reached by a 20-minute walk from the Airborne Museum, a moving experience, walking among 1,700 gravestones with the ages of the dead, so many 18-, 19- 20- and 21-year old soldiers and airman. When will we learn to resolve our differences in calm discourse and not war?

A very moving experience, the cemetery is set just on the outskirts of Oosterbeek and if you arrive by number 1 trolley bus stay on till the terminus by the railway station, then you have a short walk across the road over the rail bridge and up a short lane to the cemetery, its well signposted.
