The current exhibition is a wonderfull occasion to see more of the rooms than at other times. Young Dutch artists have created installations with sounds and modern art in the antique rooms, that gaves them a new vitality and you get to see more of the fournituren. The gardens have to be reconstructed again because someone bought the wrong boxplants... More

The palace tour was good, and the interior was beautifully done. Really nice area to sit and enjoy a snack or beverage. Large garden area, with several varieties of tulips and many other flora in full bloom. Large arbor to walk through, obviously had taken many years of work to achieve the shape and dimensions. Overall, great trip and great... More

We visited the gardens and palace in the rain and they were still stunning. The garden is very well maintained with romantic spots to sit. In the backyard you can get a coffee watching the garden. The palace showed rooms from different kings showing the time era they lived in. It was not like in some other places were you... More

It is a nice place to walk around and get a feel for the Dutch culture. Walk around in the castle and get familiar with the Dutch Royal family. Well maintained gardens to walk in. Enjoy a cup of coffee with a good view off the gardens. It is worth a stop when you are in the neighbourhood.

If you are in Apeldoorn visit this palace and its extensive surrounding gardens. It belongs to the Royal family. Very historic and something totally different than the Apenheul and childrens fun park Koningin Julianatoren, which are very close.

Not Buckingham Palace but a wonderful peaceful countryside venue nonetheless. Beautiful grounds and gardens and an excellent companion to a visit to Kroller Muller.

Well laid out, friendly staff. Liked the old cars. most of the palace is quite impressive but smells like it needs aired. some more restoration needs doing. The famous gardens were very impressive but as they were building on the day you could see the patterns in the garden are kept by having steel bases to line up all the... More

When in the Netherlands a visit to the Paleis Het Loo, both inside and ouside, is a must. When you enter on the ground floor the Seashell Grotto is one of the first rooms to welcome you, and what a welcome it is, as thousands of shells adorn the fountain, the walls and the ceilings. The other rooms of the... More

When you are in the US, you stop by the White House, but entry tickets are hard to come by. When in Europe, No matter which country you stop in, see a castle, or a palace. Well, this is the one to see. A Dutch palace is very different from a castle in Great Britain. I have to say the... More
