When possible visiting every year the exibitions at the Palace. The Palace is located at one of the most beautiful parts of the Netherlands, the Veluwe. In the middle of woods and a beautiful natur. The palace itself is a part of history of the family of Orange, the queens and kings of the Netherlands. With furniture of different ages.... More

It is as expansive and palatial as you could wish for. If you like a taste of National Trust this place is an all-you-can-eat buffet. The furnishings are opulent and plentiful, garnished with many paintings and ormolu on the side. People love this place and quite rightly so. Built for William III at a time when the Netherlands was rolling... More

The palace was stunning! Great architecture, great art, but Willem the 3rd must have loved himself a great deal to build something like that.

Gorgeous gardens. Bring a picnic and enjoy. Well worth doing the walk around the woodland and bathing lake area which takes about an hour and is well shaded. Makes a lovely contrast to the formal gardens.

I felt a bit ashamed that I had not visited this beautiful palace and gardens in my home country before. Been to many others abroad and palace Het Loo can stand up against many other famous palaces. The buildings, art, gardens and history of the Dutch monarchy is certainly worth a visit. Did you know that this palace was built... More

If you like Hollywood glamour and a romantic story, go and see this exhibition whilst it is still on. My husband also enjoyed it too, so it is not entirely a girl's thing. We had visited the palace several times before, and I did not enjoy the modern art currently on display. However, we were there on a hot sunny... More

The current exhibition is a wonderfull occasion to see more of the rooms than at other times. Young Dutch artists have created installations with sounds and modern art in the antique rooms, that gaves them a new vitality and you get to see more of the fournituren. The gardens have to be reconstructed again because someone bought the wrong boxplants... More

The palace tour was good, and the interior was beautifully done. Really nice area to sit and enjoy a snack or beverage. Large garden area, with several varieties of tulips and many other flora in full bloom. Large arbor to walk through, obviously had taken many years of work to achieve the shape and dimensions. Overall, great trip and great... More

We visited the gardens and palace in the rain and they were still stunning. The garden is very well maintained with romantic spots to sit. In the backyard you can get a coffee watching the garden. The palace showed rooms from different kings showing the time era they lived in. It was not like in some other places were you... More

It is a nice place to walk around and get a feel for the Dutch culture. Walk around in the castle and get familiar with the Dutch Royal family. Well maintained gardens to walk in. Enjoy a cup of coffee with a good view off the gardens. It is worth a stop when you are in the neighbourhood.
