Sunday 3rd August beautiful sunny day so we drove to Rhossili to see the beach. We parked up in the car park at the top, which was basically a field and was £3.50. This car park is not owned by the National Trust so the charges are not reinvested in the area, there is a NT car park near by.... More

You can't go wrong with a day out to Rhossili Bay. The road leads directly to the car park. From there it is a 30 minute walk to the worms head and yes if the timing is right you can walk across the sea to the head. The views are very nice but it can be quite windy so go... More

The beach was very good, but the best part was the walking to Worm's head. This was fun, challenging and scary in places but the scenery and views amazing. The first fifth of the walk was across the causeway with slippery, moving rocks with the occasional mini, but deep, rock pool. The most full-on segment was walking on jagged rocks... More

This place is absolutely fantastic. The scenery is out of this world. The national trust footpath makes it an easy 20min walk to the coastguard station and back with incomparable views that are world class for sure

This is probably one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. We stayed at Swansea and it was an hours drive from the hotel. There is a car park which charges £3.50 for the day and there are toilets and a couple of restaurants near the car park. We brought our own food so didn't try the restaurant.... More

I visited Rhossili Bay on a recent holiday in the Mumbles. I can only say the view takes your breath away! The walk to the beach from the car park is down a steep path with steps and is hard on the knees on the way back up, however it is well worth the effort. The beach is amazing with... More

The walk down amend the fabulous vistas. Hard walk back if you are older or not fit but that is what makes it so unique. Children love it. I took a German family friends with 3 young boys from 2 to 8 years old and they went several times and loved it despite there being no ice cream to hand.... More

I visited Rhossili Bay during a recent holiday and I must say it is totally deserving of it being voted 9th best beach in the world, 3rd best beach in Europe and the best beach in the UK. When going into the sea there did not seem to be any hidden ledges, so reassuring when you have young children going... More

We were staying a few miles down the road and decided to drive West to see what we would find and by sheer luck run out of road and found Rhossilli bay. The views are unbelievable and absolutely stunning. As for the beach, its just amazing. Once onto the sand there is hardly a stone to be found or seen.... More

Beatiful scenic location, that feels like it is in another world! Well worth a visit for an evening of sunset watching although the climb down to the beach and back is hard work if you are not an active person. Car park at the top is charged for but depends on the day whether someone is there to take the... More
