I had a half-day to spend in Zurich, and took a gamble by deciding to spend it on the tour. I am so glad that I did! Our informative guide took us to some neat places I would never have found wandering the city alone. A great way to get a feel for the city and its history in a... More

This was a very enjoyable way to get my bearings in this interesting city. Our guide, Jonathon, was educated, eloquent and engaging. In showing us various interesting landmarks, he took participants on a journey through Zurich's history from its origins as a Roman financial centre, through the period of Hildegarde, to its full circle back to financial centre today. The... More

This tour is definitely one of the better free walking tours compared to other cities. It just helps to have a guide living for a long time in the city and so we saw some streets and places we would have never found on our own and even got some tips for further sight seeing we would have missed out... Zaney Dave gave an informative off the beaten path tour through 2000 years of historic to present Frankfurt. Not a dull movement as he tries his best to engage. Please do not leave midway thinking you had a free tour as happened with a couple within our group. It is dedicated people like this that makes holidaying memorable and picturesque.... More

We did both the old town and Zurich west tours with Jonathan, who was a great guide. We saw areas that we would never have visited and he had a lot of interesting and fun facts to share. Definitely worth it!

I try to take a Free Walk in every European city we visit. I find it a great way to see a city from a local's perspective. This was no exception. Our guide was very interesting and friendly. She gave us a good overview of a city she clearly loves without an overload of facts and figures. We learned of... More

we took the free city tour today and it was the perfect mix of sights, information, and exercise. Our guide, Jonas, was both personable and knowledgeable. It was a large group, but our guide handles us well and we had no trouble following him or hearing him. Overall, it was a great overview of this lovely city. I would recommend... More

We went on this Walking tour with our work. It was in the evening, so you could see all of the beautiful decorations and lights. Most of us already knew Zurich but nobody really knew any of the stories we heard from our guide during the tour. It was just a great atmosphere. Our guide was very funny and the... More

We really enjoyed the Free Zurich walk. It was the perfect combination of getting to know the city centre but not taking too much time. And now we know why this funny old harbour crane that is placed in the middle of the city! It is an art object! ;-)

Having lived in Zurich for 6 months my family came to visit for the Xmas markets. I had heard through friends about the Free Walking Tour and thought it would be a good way for my mother and wife to see the city. The tour lasted about 90 minutes but was done at a good pace as it was a... More
