I was here recently for a football match. The result was excellent, but there are a few things that really disappointed, the wait in the lines wasn't so bad as I read on other reviews, but what disappointed was that during the second half the sun was in our faces most of the time. Another aspect that was quite confusing... More

I was a little disappointed by the stadium. It was only built a few years ago but for the spectator the view is not great. I had expected something much better. My view was blocked by a camera on a pedestal. Even if the camera had not been there I would not have had a great view. The overhead screens... More

Letzigrund stadium is the home to the local professional fussball teams FC Zurich (FCZ) and the Grasshopper Club Zurich (GCZ). This stadium can seat roughly 26,000 for fussball and track and field events. Concerts are also held in the stadium and seating capacity for these are roughly 50,000. The facility is best accessed with public transportion (tram and bus) as... More

They say it is best to hold a championships in a knowledgeable sports city - and with regular diamond league meetings, Zurich is one of those places especially for Athletics. A nice size stadium 25-30k spectators practically full on the two days we were there - good support for the hosts and impartiality for good performances. Decent catering at reasonable... More

No complaints whatsoever. From public transport to and from to the acoustics and video screens in the stadion, everything was well thought out and well executed. Ushers friendly and helpful, nice atmosphere throughout entire evening. It all contributed to a new found admiration for the Rolling Stones. It is certainly memorable that they set the stage 'on fire'.

If your once in for the Zurich Athletics meeting, go to Letzigrund. If it is "just a soccer game", it is oK (also price-wise) but not the experience youhave in the UK, Germany, Spain or Italy...

It's a relatively small stadium, around 25,000 max capacity and pretty outdated, eventhough it's only 5 yrs old. The seats/benches are uncomfortable and the view of the pitch is obstructed by thick pillars. When the main stands (behind the goals) get full for local league football games (FCZ or GC), it's really tight and hard to get to your seat... More

Have visited twice post-Olympics international track and fields competitions attended by a wide array of international stars. Easy to get in and to get out, to find your seats and overlook the whole stadion. You're well protected even under pouring rain. I was amazed by the excellent public transportation waiting for the public at the end of the competition. With... More

Very nice stadium. I was here on two occasions last year and the stadium helps to create a nice atmosphere. The accoustics are great, the design is nice, the pitch is not too far from the supporters. All in all a nice stadium that suits the occasion.

It is not a real footballstadium. I prefer a stadium without distance between the stands and the field.
