Excellent guidance in an exceptional city. Worth trying it. Surrounded by a very high quality of life and a rich history at the sides of the Limmat river.

We took one of the guided walking tours through the old city of Zurich. The guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out many attractions and points of interest. I'm not sure we could have done this on our own, but after the tour, we were able to return and take our time going through some of the churches and shopping.... More

This was my favorite thing in Zurich. We took a phenomenal walking tour with a lady (Philomena). Booked the tour from the Tourist Information. It cost CHF11 with a Zurich Card. It was well worth it! It was Saturday, and there were many who signed up for tour, so they split the group into English speaking and German speaking groups.... More

They offer the tour in both German and English. With our tour there were 2 separate guides so no repeating things. The price was 20 francs with the Swiss Pass, Rick Steves says 50% off, but not true. Just informative enough to not get boring. Easy going pace. We took the tour on Sunday and be warned if it matters... More

We did this tour without reading tripadvisor reviews- very glad I had not checked tripadvisor before or I would have skipped it... And that would have been a shame. We had Barbara as our guide and shd was very good... It is true that she was switching between German and English, but I didn't see that as an issue. She... More

Me and my wife took this walking tour because it had 50% discount with the Zurichcard, it was in full english, Daniela our guide was great, she knew her material, she also had some old pictures to help her presentation. It was February so we were freezing and she was very sensitive to it, we did a few stops in... More

I signed up for this tour after getting the Zurich card, which gave me a 50% discount (and it also allowed me to use all the public transport, even a train to the airport :)), and a good thing because I wouldn't have liked to pay the equivalent of €22 for this tour. Reading about the tour, you assume that... More

This tour starts at the Swiss tourist office at the main railway station HB Zurich. Our tour guide Andrea was informative, entertaining and funny, especially her irreverent view of Swiss banking laws and the shady dealing with the Nazis in WW2.The walk is leisurely taking in the spectacular Old Town which is mostly car free.It takes two hours and ends at the Fraumunster... Recently did a Zurich Guided Walking tour and was really impressed with the knowledgeable guide who weaved us around the city, pointing out various historically significant monuments and areas. This was not a physically demanding tour, and the pace was slow up the small alleys of the town. Would recommend this to anyone going to Zurich who wants to know... More
