We went to Thermalbad & Spa Hürlimann one of the many rainy summer weekends, a little skeptic anticipating a very crowded place. We chose the bath and the Spa and this was a very good choice, as you can escape the crowds in the bath better. We arrived late morning but apparently early enough as we found out later. When... We read the reviews here on TripAdvisor, and they're quite accurate. Overall, the experience at the Thermalbad is a great & unique one, especially as part of an otherwise "touristic" visit to Zurich. Once you find the entrance (challenging), which is located in an interior courtyard of a trendy shopping/dining/office complex that also hosts Google's HQ, your experience begins. Staff... More

The perfect cure for jet lag! Unwind from that cramped overseas flight and rejuvenate for your Zurich adventure. The photos don't really do it justice - it is much more atmospheric and beautiful in real life. The Irish and Roman Baths are worth the upgrade, otherwise it is just the 3 huge thermal pools (with robe, sandals and locker rental).... More

The whole city is viewable from the top of the roof where the entire area is designed as a spa that you can wade through and sit and relax... The views are nearly 360 degrees.. The best facets of the city are within eye glance and you can share a wonderful time with family, friends or a loved one. Or... More

This bath house is spectacular. Be sure to splurge for the Irish and Roman baths which provide access to the rooftop bath. From there you can look over Zurich from an enormous pool with spa jets. Get a massage afterwards and you are ready for the plane ride home.

Although I would say Zurich is a city that has perfectly balanced nature, urban fun and beautiful architecture, I would also say that on a Sunday there is not much to do. This is why my partner and I thought it would be a good idea to devote a couple of hours to deep relaxation on our weekend away. We... More

Configured inside an old brewery (whose equipment is preserved for history alongside a charming and quirky modern boutique hotel - B2 -), the spa offers many typical, if unspectacular, offerings (massage -often booked up way ahead of time- Roman and Irish baths, steam sauna, sensory deprivation pool -a bit too noisy if you're not alone-, etc) but the piece de... We stayed in the B2 Hotel for 6 nights. I visited the spa twice. It's really easy and well designed for hotel guests. You simply tell the front desk that you'll visit and you get the discounted rate of 25 CHF (normally 58), which gives you access to not only the rooftop pool but also the Roman/Irish baths. The front... More

This is a fabulous place. Reception is nice and competent. The entrance doesn't reveal too much of what expects you inside: great design, a calmness that invites you to relax. The changing room and lockers might be a little bit better organised. But what a great design, they really knew what to do with their old brewery halls. The elegant,... More

Took friends to this Spa for a couple od hours pleasure and relaxation over the weekend. Stunning views relaxing in the rooftop pool, good facilities however for those of us who don't speak the local language it was a little confusing as to what and where you can go... Having taken a wrong turn, one member of staff hunted us... More
