Visited last week with husband and 2 teens. Although it was Good Friday, a national holiday, the spa was well attended. We did not experience any lines, but there were plenty of people there. We did not do the circuit, as our teens are not 16. The front desk staff were lovely and very helpful. Speaking English to us, explaining... More

We spent the day here for our first anniversary. It's very relaxing and romantic, but beware some couples get a bit too romantic! It's worth paying more for the Irish Roman Baths part if you're spending the day there. You'll need a 2franc coin for the locker. You're given a dressing gown and small towel. Not many restaurants nearby but... More

Thermal bad is the nicest spa I have been to. I went there in the morning expecting to be bored within two hours and ended up there the entire day. There are loads of downstairs underground pools and steam rooms and it's worth paying the extra 14 francs to have access to the Roman baths. My favorite place was the... More

We went on a Monday and there were no queues. We were a bit confused as all the signs were in German and the English instructions we received on entry were a little confusing ( when they said take the door on the left they did not mean the first door on the left which was alarmed). But we found... More

Been twice in this old brewery turned into a handsome thermal bath and spa. The first visit was on a weekend and quite hectic. All wooden pools were crowded and sounded like chicken farms. Had to wait for an hour to enter the Irish-Roman SPA with various saunas and pools of which I'm fond of. It's inconvenient for the guest... More

Have been here on each visit to Zurich. Have never had issues with staff or lines(on weekdays) In fact quite a relaxing afternoon on each visit. The price of 58chf, seems reasonable for a complete experience. Numerous baths with varying temperatures and jet speeds. Not to be missed is the rooftop spa overlooking the City. Best viewed with a fresh... More

It's just not a tourist friendly place. You start by getting a huge line at the entrance and you don't even know what to get because there's absolutely nothing written in English, so you lose 20min just getting the instructions from the staff to find out what the hell you should buy. When you get in, it's even worse because... More

Came here on a Sunday. Paid for two simple tickets (w/o Spa), a bathrobe, a chicken-stick and two coffees about 90 Euros. For this price we were able to enter 4 pools of about 20-30 square meters each full of kissing and caressing teenagers plus one steam bath. The chicken was not prepared well, the coffees were good. Relaxation was... More

The experience starts with a line at the front desk.. followed by, in my case anyway, a deer in headlights clerk who totally failed at explaining the irish/roman spa and the famous "round" to follow. So, the clerk administers a chip band for any further purchases, however, this chip does not work for the lockers, there is another key for... More

I have been to the Thermalbad & Spa in Zurich many times (with friends or my boyfriend) and I really like it. But you have to be careful with the timing. On weekends and public holidays it is very (!) crowded and not really relaxing. On weekdays however it is the perfect place to relax. I always go to the... More
