As you approach the Lindenhofplatz you see a large open area shaded by lush green trees towering over. We visited this site at about 4:00 pm on a day which was sprinkling rain and a bit cold. There two life size games of chess located in the park which are great for young and old. There are numerous seats scattered... More

We had lunch before arriving, otherwise, it would also be great to have lunch here while taking in the nice view of the River Limmat and the other half of the city behind. It’s a small sized park and not much greenery during winter and wasn’t crowded at all on a Friday afternoon. I guess we benefited more with view... More

We visited this park mid-afternoon and had a relaxing break. We saw the sights of Zurich, watch some old timers play something kinda like bocce ball and took some flight on the swings. We'd recommend it!

Best view over Zürich whilst in the city itself. Get yourself a drink and sit on the wall overlooking the city. At night/dark evening it's the best spot!

Bit of a climb up. But well worth it for the view of the city. Go there early morning or late afternoon when the light is best for some great photography. We walked up the cobbled pathway and came down the steps into the Altstadt (Old Town). Great way to see all the little shops that are tucked away on... More

You have to climb a few steps to get here, but the views are worth it. It's a great way to get oriented to all of the sights and you can get some great pictures at a different vantage point then on the ground.

Nice view of the city. We were there over Christmas, so we could see all of the lights. We got some great photos around sunset.
