A cafe and a giant tram stop, and a really good Sausage bar called the sternen grill that has the best Bratwurst in town. It used to have a green lawn that had to made way for concrete. Nothing exciting but you probably will have to change trams here at some point

We have passed this square, and comparing to the other stuff nearby,it lacks a wow factor, but non the less it is a nicely arranged square, which you won't be able to miss anyways. So just go up and about, look or other stuff you wanna see and you will bump into it:-) if you cannot find it,it is opposite on the left from walkside... This is a very central place in Zurich and on a nice day it is nice to sit down here and watch the world go by. Many trams meet here so there is an incessant flow of people. There are lots of places to eat or drink around the area and the lake is close by. I used to be... More

...it's open space...you findall kinds of shops, Restaurants (including the best "Kalbsbratwurst"!), cinema etc. and it's spacious with an open view to the lake, to the Opera house...you can spend hours there...and it's close to "old Zurich", to the "Bahnhofstrasse"...

As a pedestrian you just don't feel save. Cars, tramways, buses....it is a real pity that everyone has to cross this place in order to pass the city.

Bellevue square is more of a central point for catching trams and starting a lake walk, the Bratwurst stand on the corner is excellent and it was lovely to eat this Swiss street food by the lake as an economical lunch in the sun
