I can't provide a serious fault with the store, it was a wonderful layout and beautiful products to match. Admittedly, the prices are on the expensive side. However, I find that you pay for the quality. I could've happily spent 70CHF on a box of Luxemburgerli, if it wasn't for the short shelf life. But these were what attracted me... More

If I was on deathrow and I could choose one final dessert then Sprungli's salted caramel eclair would be a top contender. Highly recommended - even if you're not a huge fan of salted caramel desserts, totally divine. Note : Had trouble finding it at other Sprungli branches across Switzerland ie Basel and Zurich Flughafen, Had 4 other types of... More

You must go here during your stay in Zurich. Everything there is absolutely delicious. It probably has the best chocolates in the world, hands down.

I had not been here since about 1990 but all the good stuff was still there. My favorite is a simple hazelnut and chocolate cream little sandwich looking thing. I forget the name, but you have to find something you like anyway. It is very expensive, but worth every penny(or S Franc) But a bunch to take or or you... More

This was a truly decadent and enjoyable experience. We indulged on their famous hot chocolate and split a gipfeli (Swiss croissant made with less butter than French croissants). It was light and airy and the perfect compliment to a decadent hot chocolate.

Every trip to Zürich inludes a "must" visit Confiserie Sprungli, my favorite shop for chocolates. Sprungli has several shops located around Zürich, including their biggest store, which includes a restaurant, at Paradeplatz. This is luxury chocolate at it's finest. I always love picking up a selection of their wonderful pralinés and truffles. The selection is quite large. The famous Luxemburlis... More

We tried this candy store, in the train station of downtown Zurich. I have to tell you it was the best chocolate I had ever tasted, but it is expensive. It was so good that we brought several hundred dollars worth of chocolate back to the U.S. We thought about ordering more, but the postal costs are astronomical!

Amazing. My friend and I had the chocolate chaud and it was divine. We also tried some of their individual cakes and one of their canapés. There's not much to say about the canapé...it was a smoked salmon canapé and it tasted okay. The cakes are to die for. We ordered what seemed to be a lemon cheesecake and it... More

Fantastic breakfast. Not bad coffee. The best sweets. EVER. Also a very good place for people watching. You need to be aware there are two levels to to this amazing place, on the bottom (limited seating and mostly a retail space to buy their fantastic food) and the more formal second floor where it's more of a restaurant feel.
