Sprüngli is the upmarket brand of Swiss chocolate maker giant Lindt and this shop is probably one of the most famous located on Paradeplatz / Banhoffstrasse, one of the most exclusive areas of Zürich. There is a part of the shop dedicated to shopping and it links up to the sit down café area. Needless to say, everything is squeaky... More

Whenever I come to Zuroch this is the first place where i am heading and I am never never disappointed. The chocolate is amazing, as well as the cakes (truffle cake in particular). The macaroons are the best - but the best are their prussiens! This confisserie is swiss perfection. It does not get better!

We stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon for a quick treat and a beverage. Since most shops are closed on Sundays, this was a very popular destination. We grabbed a table on the patio, which was a bit cramped, but we knew to expect that. We shared a pastry, as well as a pot of tea and a glass... More

Great coffee and delicious treats to try. Very popular but worth the 10ish minute wait for a table. Quick and friendly service

Afternoon "tea" in Zurich is really best done with a hot chocolate at Sprungli. Nice dark chocolate with rich flavor.

I was so glad I came in here the morning we were leaving Zurich, there was so many amazing options from cakes to lunch items to decadent chocolates. I had already purchased some from a different store, but couldn't go Past their large salted Caramel truffles, only two! As they were almost 5 euro each! But after I had chosen... More

Have you ever tired to make chocolate yourself? I have... It is very timely, precise and delicate. So, when people say Sprungli place is expensive, they just do not understand the process of hand crafted chocolate. The quality of the Sprungli is excellent!

without reservation, you will have a table after a while... whatever you will take i am sure that it will be perfect, we had perfect cappuccinos, great eggs, very nice table with a view outside and the most fun of all, you can just look the other customers and maybe a conversation will begin.. just don't miss it!

Don't let yourself discouraged by the crowds inside. There is a reason why so many people are drawn to this shop. I recommend to try the Luxemburgerli. You can choose between different box sizes and then pick as much types of Luxemburgerli you want. The price is around 12-13 CHF per 100gr. Despite the large number of customers, the personnel... Yes, yes, Switzerland is expensive, but this is ridiculous. This store is famous for the little Luxembourger sweets, but the prices are eye watering. I fail to see the value of paying more than CHF120 per kilogram for little foamy sweets with artifical colors and flavoring. I doubt anyone actually buys a kilo, but still each one costs more than...
