This is quite a large park not so far from the centre of Zurich. It has a pond and some lovely flower beds and nice architecture. It is generally relatively quite. I travel by this park often, but never really walked around the inside. On the northern end, it’s mostly huge trees, some shaded and open space, walking trails and benches and the Belvior Restaurant ( presently rated in the Top 30 restaurants in the city). We enjoyed this beautiful park that was a great place to people watch and there were excellent food venders selling great brats, pretzels, beers, etc. at reasonable prices.

We visited this park in a nice and peaceful afternoon. Everything is so refreshing and lovely. This is a good place to take a walk for some hours and it really worth it.

If you're taking a walk along the lakefront, head up a little and explore this tranquil park, pretty views and secluded spot in the city.

The Park is large and endowed with slopes, lots of trees, water ponds, planted flower beds and wild flowers. Usually it is very quite and you'll find even on sunny days just a few visitors. Excellent food, in the summer the terrasse and the garden are lovely. You would never know the staff are students as it is so good

This hotel is ia very good location only 20 minutes away from downtown Zurich and it's worth to stay there as it's quiet. Rooms are ok but could be a little more modern (bigger TV f.ex.). Staff is friendly and breakfast and dinner are good. Price for a single is CHF 230.- and CHF 270.- for a double (same size).... More
