Nothing super exciting. Very fragmented displays with no connection...eg furniture exhibition and ancient ruins exhibition. Nothing spectacular outside of glass boxes and frames on walls.

The Swiss National Museum tells the complete story of the Swiss people. It highlights the history and archeology. It also has very interesting displays of Swiss artifacts and life. Worth an afternoon

Swiss National Museum is located right across Zurich HB. The entrance though is quite hidden near the Subway. The museum has very old and well preserved artifacts of Zurich's history. They also have audio guides in multiple languages to understand the artifacts better. It takes about 2-3 hours to see the whole museum while a day would be an ideal... More

Museum is good. There are many artifacts and they are thoroughly described and displayed in a good and clear structure. Temporary exhibitions make this museum even more lively. If you wish, though, to make a break in museum's bistro, better now. You may have a better service in a supermarket in the main station. Not only that service is awful... More

My husband and I were debating whether to spend one of our two days in Zurich at this museum but because it rained all day and our hotel was very close, we decided to go. Even though we speak English and the predominant language here is not, we did find it very easy to get necessary info using cardboard placards... More

Very easy to find, its right next to Zurich's main train station, it wasn't costly to get in either. Very interesting to learn about the Swiss history. I particularly liked the way they had it in a few different languages so fro those of us who don't speak German or French can still learn and understand it! Definitely worth the... More

Fine old building with the exhibits being re-worked. We were disappointed. Much of the detail seemed to be omitted in favour of trendy dumb-downed vignettes on sloping walkways.

There was a lot to see concerning the history of Switzerland. Everything is described in French and German but not much in English. Would appreciate more descriptions in English.
