Great science museum close to zurich. I took my two kids (2 and 5) and their granddad on a day trip to the Technorama. All three generations loved it and didn't want to leave after 4 hours. All displays encourage hands on involvement and are suited for the casual/young visitor as well as the older visitors who can maybe understand... More

Technorama is a Science Center approx 30 minutes by train from Zurich center. There are over 500 experiment stations on three floors so you need at least one day to see and try them all... My 9 year old son loved the place and we will definitely go there next time too because we couldn't see them all...

This place is a must-see if you are with kids. A huge building containing a nice expose of different experiments and tools. You can play with magnets and experiment with many different tools. There is a restaurant inside, so just book few hours to be able to see everything.

Worth taking a half a day or more. Lots to see, if your at least a bit interested in natural sciences. And definitely lots of fun for kids.

It is simply a Funtastic and magical place to explore science and to test your knowledge. If you are an adult... The children will love it as much. It is simply a wonderful place to spend a half a day or full day particularly during the long winter season. Thrre are several shows taking place on the time. Have fun!!!!

I decided to visit Technorama out of simple curiosity. It turned out to be an amazing experience. We completely lost the semse of time. We came out only when they were closing! Save a whole day for that. Impossible to miss!!!

A great technical exhibition that is totally hands-on. Ideal for kids...and big kids (60+). Set aside minimum 4 hours for visit, however 8 hours would be ideal to see everthing.

3 floors and hundreds of hands-on experiments about light, magnetism, sound, heat, etc. Instructions in English, German, French. The ticket is not cheap (27 CHF for an adult) but it is worth it. A visit will take several hours, so free up a day for it. Good for children and adults. We went (2 adults 30+) and enjoyed it very... More

Ha vying visited this place several times over many years I am still amazed as to the degree of interest it generates. The entrance fee is about CHF 30, a little less for student or over 65's, there is no incorporated entry that allows reduced entry cost with travel tickets; as was pointed out this is a science centre, not...
