Even though it was cold, this was the most enjoyable lakefront or riverfront walk I've taken, anywhere. The landscaping is wonderful, the views are fantastic, the private homes along the walk are elegant, it's flat and you have the option of riding the bus back to your hotel from several points along the length of the walk. The landscaping is... More

Not snow, not Alps, but the Montreux lakeside flowers in full bloom can be the real winner on a swiss tour. Hard to believe but true.

Such a beautiful place with all the bloomed tulips, lake and mountains...just woved!!!. Just a few minutes walk down from the montreux station. We kept our luggage in the locker since we went to Rochers De naye and have to catch up the Golden Pass Train. The time in between we spent near the lake. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy... More

We walked from Montreux train station on the shore of Leman lake up to the Chillon castle. All the flowers were bloomed, the views were stunning, the sun was shining - everything was perfect. I loved this place.

Every year the Montreux gardeners surprise with a new and stunning flower Show. It's simply unique. You will see all kind of figures formed from flowers. Alongside the quai there are sculpters. One which receives a lot of attraction is certainly Freddy Mercurie.

Amazing views of the lake, peaceful and relaxing, good exercise with fresh air without having to really leave the city.

The town of Montreux obviously spends some money on maintaining a nice promenade landscaping! Well done! Great views over the lake.

I travelled to montreux from Geneva by train which was just over 1 hour away. The whole area is very beautiful and clean, you can easily walk the path from lake Geneva to the mountain for over an hour taking pictures and enjoying the scenes. There many bar, shops and restaurants nearby and free wifi. It's definitely worth visiting even... More

Oh yes, the name says it all and luckily is not just the name but reality. This walk is totally mandatory if you visit Montreux, even on a rainy day. Breath-taking view with the lake and mountains, full of flowers, nice statues and old buildings, clean air, little shops with souvenirs and food. It is so beautiful!!! There are many... More
