~See my other TripAdvisor reviews on Rochers de Naye and Plein Roc! ~if you don't fancy walking up the mountain to the other Marmot pens, just visit the one right outside the train station canteen ~when there aren't many people in the canteen (after the train leaves) go ask someone to show you the Marmot pen...they may let you pet... This train trip is spectacular. Try to do on a clear day as clouds rumble in at times. View is amazing as are the marmots. We only saw one who we gave crusts from our sandwich to. There are others but due to weather were inside their house.

Train trip very lovely vista lovely. We had to return due to breathing difficulties of my brother otherwise we would have eaten well worth it (we could have got off and eaten at one of the stops on the way down)

While the ticket is not cheap (as it is in Switzerland), but it's worth it. Once up there, there are several hiking track that you can take, but with young... More

There is a small collection of marmot's at this point, which i think has been done just to create another tourist attraction. Nothing special.

We were expecting to see marmots in their natural habita and not fenced off in the cages.. This is a far cry from paradise.. That said, marmots can be easily spotted, they are very interactive and fun to watch..

This is just a tiny enclosure with a few marmots. We saw three when we visited on Aug 29. The whole area is very scenic and definitely worth a visit

These cute furry animals are fun to watch and definitely a good thing to see when up at Rochers-de-Naye.

Only a couple of Marmots out when we visited. The animals are cute but do not stick your fingers inside the fence line. They will eat veggies from your hand but be careful

We went to see the marmots today, but none were visible in their park areas. It was a beautiful day, and we were there in late morning. Maybe they only come out late in the day? I was quite disappointed. The expo wasn't bad, but the signage was confusing and it took us a long time to find it. The... More
