Even though we had a win, there was no atmosphere unfortunately. Far better things to do in Montreux.

The casino here is unlike any I've been to in the states (Las Vegas, Oklahoma, New Orleans, mostly). The atmosphere is very calm and you don't feel forced to spend your money. It does not smell like cigarettes, in fact they have three rooms designated for smokers. There is a bar in the casino where they serve good food. The...

In fairness, it was a snowy and very cold night and the crowd small and mixed. Far too many youthful gamblers recklessly and mindlessly playing with little regard for the persons about them. It was almost a drunken revelry -- and a highly disturbing one at that.

We stopped at the Casino for lunch. It is affordable and we played a few Swiss Francs. We also learned the lyrics of the Deep Purple, Smoke on the water, fire in the sky, the story behind the fire of the Casino. What a revelation.

is not the best casino I ever saw in my life, but is nice for Montreux, the restaurant is good, I advice the hamburger with the fois gras, my favorite plate there. The service is ok, but as I said before, nothing compared to other casinos.

The casino is very small. You have to show photo ID to get down to he gaming floor. I'm not a big gambler, but had an hour to kill so decided to play the slots. 20 CHF kept me going for about an hour. Was surprised how full it was for the middle of the afternoon on a weekday.

You will be asked to check ID but I prefer the security system. The casino isn't big but they have everything you expect in a casino. A fun place to be.

We went there initially for a drink to check it out. After having to show our passports just to get in, we went to the upper balcony bar, which was virtually empty and wanted to sit by the overlook area to watch the action. The tables had 3 chairs round them, but as there were 4 of us we tried...

The casino is well situated in Montreux. The staff is very nice (but, as said, aren't they in all casinos ? :)). They should add some more roulette tables because they are often quite busy. The restaurants have a very good value for money, and the view on the terrace is very nice. There's a very nice pool also. Enjoy.
