There is an incredible scenery around the statue of Freddie. That's about it. But hey, it's free! Go there if you are a fan, if you have spare time, or if you really like the view of Lake Leman.

We often come here. September is the anniversary of Freddies death, where people lay flowers at the foot of the statue. Well worth a visit

It's a statue; nothing more, nothing less. If you're a Queen-fan though, it will be a nice place to visit. The town and lake are pretty and Freddie has a prime spot. It's more about the story behind it.

an adequate spot. Beautifully situated on the promende overlooking the lake. Gives a good impression, why Freddie Mercury loved this place so much.

Ok, you will see a statue of Freddy Mercury. If you are a big fan and need to take a selfie next to the statue, be my guest. Other than that...

Great monument I think reflecting the best who Freddy Mercury was and is in memories of his fans - great singer, great music, passion, energy, strength a controversy in life and music. "One year of love is better than lifetime alone"!

The Freddie Mercury memorial in Monteux I found was fantastic! The museum in the casino was just fascinating with all of the costumes, recordings and interactive Queen memorabilia were something I will never forget, around the actual statue there were some great cafe's and eateries that directly overlook the lake. worth visiting for an afternoon.

I saw this statue and was impressed and later found out about him and had listened to the iconic songs. I wish now I had spent more time. But oh well....
