This place is beautiful. We have seen a lot in Switzerland, and Rochers de Naye is now in our top 5 to see/do in Switzerland. We slept in a Mongolian Yurt, it's has a tipical smell, but before you get to sleept, just open the small windows in the top and youll be fine! The atmosphere is just great! The... More

A 50 minute train to the summit of this mountain at 2000m. Great views of the lake, surrounding mountains (including Mount Blanc, the Eiger) along with a selection of walks along the ridge. The journey itself offers great views and is a impressive piece of construction. Those staying at hotels in Montroux will have a tourist pass offering free travel... More

Very nice views from the top of this station. Easy to access from Montreaux by cog train, although the ticket is very expensive (about 55€ return tickect) . In about 5o min you're up there and there are trains every hour. Once on the top you can choose many different trails or even walk all your way down. Views of... More

Not for the faint hearted! Fabulous journey up and down to q summit over 2000 metres up! We went on a lovely day and had fabulous views over the Swiss Alps and down to Lake Geneva. We took a picnic lunch and found a lovely spot to eat it in the glorious sunshine and clear air. There were even very... More

We had a lovely time going up to Rochers de Naye by the cogwheel train from Montreux. Views are great from both sides as the train puffs its way up. We went up by the 2 pm train on Aug 29, enjoyed the flowers at the well labeled alpine garden, saw the marmots in a small enclosure. We had taken... More

It has spectacular view and amazing steep. You can enjoy as much as you can on the train Journey. Don't miss the Jordan Alpine Garden and... More

You will not be disappointed in the train ride up to this restaurant. You travel on an old cog-driven train that climbs at a somewhat steep incline on much of the trip. If you don't like heights you may want to reconsider, but the views along the way are truly magnificent as is the view from the top. This was... More

Easy train ride. Beautiful scenery. Loved the marmots. Relaxing at the top. Or you can hike as much as you like.
