We travelled on the Golden Pass Panoramic train from Montreux to Lucern, then onto Zurich. Even though weather on the day wasn't the greatest we did get some wonderful views travelling through the alps. The train was really good, very comfortable and we only travelled second class. We had to change trains 3 times but there was plenty of time... More

We took the golden pass line several times during our trip. It is covered with the swiss pass. We did not have to reserve and got seats every time without any problem. The entire route is very scenic and a very nice experience. We took both the panoramic and the classic coaches during two different trips and both are a different... More

We paid the extra for a panoramic coach and we weren't disappointed as we had a great trip to Gstaad. Only shame was there was not a lot to see there

I attemted to reserve seats for this line by internet. Date was wrong when I recieved the confirmation. I e-mailed them within five minuites and got a reply that theresevation could not be changed. I made other resevations when I arrived in Switzerland. As far as the ride itself, it was satifactory.

The cars were meant to be panoramic but really didn't seem that different than other train options. The views are beautiful but the ride very slow with frequent local stops.

We tried to book tickets for the chocolate tour last minute on the golden pass line and unfortunately they were sold out :( Instead, we paid 1/3 of the price (30ish francs) for tickets on the train for the day and it included tickets to the chocolate factory. We looked up the times the train was running (every hour) and... More

Booked the 3 Golden Pass train rides from Montreux to Luzern. The train had mechanical problems on the first leg which caused everyone on the train to miss the second leg. We were diverted onto other trains which took different routes and it was a hassle getting back our seat reservation money plus anyone could get on the train and... More

We booked the Chocolate Train tour with Golden Pass and loved it! The train left Montreux and went to Gruyeres and then we picked it up in Broc back to Montreux. I loved traveling in the old school train cars. Beautiful wood paneling lined the cars with engraved gold plated numbers indicating your seat. The seats were very comfortable and... More

This was our first time in Switzerland. We tool the train from the main station up to a village along the way. The train was easy to find, on time, easy to navigate. The price was right too.
