Worth a look at the very interesting stained glass windows from several different periods. Don't miss the side door with all the sculptures - this is what greeted pilgrims on their arrival at the cathedral.

The walk up to the top of Lausanne rewards you with a beautiful view. The Cathedral itself is lovely, but aren't they all. What was unexpected in this one are the zodiac sign stained glass pieces in the front window. Quite unusual to be able to buy an Aries refrigerator magnet at a cathedral. Definitely worth a visit.

Worth the price of a few francs to climb the bell tower, great views, and fun to time it to be on the 2nd of 3 levels when the bells ring, loud but fun!

Visited this cathedral recently, it is well deserve of its fame. Not only is it majestic with its Gothic design, when you entered into the church it fills you with a sense of serinity. I spent some time sitting down to admire the beauty of the church and I was not the only one, almost all visitors who were there... More

The cathedral is quite nice, and the current (June 2014) exhibiton of plant roles in the church and modern society just great.

The cathedral is lovey, the view of the city exceptional. It's too bad it's not still Catholic and so much art work was destroyed when it was "reformed" but you can tell the bones have survived well. It is a steep walk up, defnitely not for the ambulatorily impaired

The cathedral was very big. Although we could not go inside the cathedral I still envied the looks of the cathedral.

I was impressed by this lovely cathedral. The windows were beautiful and from the outside I liked the look of the cathedral.

The pipe organ alone in this place is worth seeing! We went on a Wednesday and an organ player was reciting which provided a nice bonus treat. The lake view from the top is spectacular and of course the hike up from the old town contains its own special charm. Happy exploring!
