It was free since it was the first saturday of the month, when I visited. There were photos of this Swiss phtographer Werner Bischof. Black and White photos I think are always interesting. And there are many photographers out there I am sure would exhibit better ones. I didn't really understand what was so special about him.

There was nothing in the English language beside any of the exhibits in this building. The was subtitles accompanying a video that was being shown in here.

I like photography, so I knew I will visit this museum. There were two exhibitions at that time: 'William Eggleston, From Black and White to Color' and 'Prix Elysée, the Nominees’ Exhibition'. Both were very interesting (for someone interested in photography). There is a nicec cafe and a bookstore in the museum, but the prices of books and catalogs are... More

The exhibition I visited was of new photographic talent and provided a clear overview of trends in modern photography from around the world. I would ahve been more interested in seenig material form the Rene Burri collection at the museum.

Great photo exhibit. Shared ticket with two other museums so I felt it was a good value. Would recommend if you find the primary exhibit interesting.

I enjoyed the small but fine exhibition of the famous American photographer William Egglestone very much. The museum is a 15 minutes walk away from the Lausanne train station and it's situated in a lovely mansion with a beautiful park with great views over the lake geneva, In the nuseum there is a coffee shop as well as a equipped... Been twice. This time they had an excellent Charlie Chaplin exhibition. Good selection of stills and videos. Nice café there too. Convenient for Olympic Museum too.

We made a point to see this exhibit before it ended on January 4. It was excellent. Between the old movies, documents and posters, it was really great. We look forward to the opening of the Charlie Chaplin Museum in Vevey in 2016.

I went to see an exhibition on paintings in 19th century America. Although the exhibition was interesting, it is not worth the price to pay for. The museum itself is quite small (one small buidling - half of it marked "off-limits" for staff only, some rooms with permanent collection having nothing to do with the actual exhibit).

The ambiance of this small photography museum is very special as it is right on Lake Geneva in a huge old mansion with grounds overlooking the lake and the French Alps. I have seen the most incredible world class exhibits here. The little "tea room" is really nice for an expresso and pastry or sandwich too. Charming.
