Without doubt one of the most inspiring places you could visit. From the lakefront setting, up through the garden steps past the fine sculptures, 100m running track and even a high jump, into the main entrance - you know your visit is going to be special. The museum balances the movement's history and the contemporary games beautifully. There are many... More

Newly renovated and the changes, particularly the ability to use touch screens throughout make it one of the best interactive museums ever! A must for athletes and olympic fans. Covers every aspect of the olympics from the design and layout of most modern venues, torches of each olympiad, reviews of opening and closing ceremonies, evolution of sports equipment, nutrition and... a large exhibition with everything Olympic from start to finish. Plenty to see and do. Good for children too. Allow plenty of time as there are things to see outside as well as in. (Fee for inside) audio guide also available.

The olympic museum has a great new look and feel. A lot of great animation, technical fancy things. A must for each sportsman and sportswoman. Tips: - not preferred for kids below 9 - with Raiffeisen card free entry - museum language = Eng / French - electronic guide for other languages = 5.- chf - bring your own earplugs

I have visited the previous museum, but I find the new museum better arranged and more interactive. I also like its new location as there are many hotels within 10 mins walking distance to it. Try the museum's cafe which serves a good lunch and offers a commanding view of the lake in front. Don't forget to also browse through... More

Interesting place for an afternoon visit for CHF 18 per person. Plenty of interactive exhibits and facts about the origin of the games, founder, cities, artefacts etc. This is more of a museum about the developments and achievements of the Olympic organisation itself, rather than the athletes taking part. All very modern and well put together.

The Museum interactive history about Olympic is first class, the sculpture around the grounds are marvelous, the whole story behind the events through sport to put all countries together was genius.
