We visited a couple of years ago and since then it has undergone major renovations. We all agreed it is the best museum we have visited with a great mixture of fact and entertainment. The audio guide is well worth it and if you have a Swiss Travel Pass (and you really should) the museum is free.

Sport is my entire life, I do it for living as a journalist so the visit of Olympic Museum was something like my personal hearing with the Pope. No matter that the building was closed due to the renovation, I had a great time even at the small temporary exhibit at the boat. Torches and medals from every Games, famous... More

Have been twice since it has reopened following the renovation, never went beforehand so can't comment on the changes. We went with our toddler, so didn't get a chance to look at everything, however thoroughly enjoyed it. Although I am not a big sports fan, nor indeed an Olympic fan, the museum is very captivating and held my attention for... More

A visit to The Olympic Museum is quite something To see and understand how Pierre de Coubertin with the idea and how it developed into the sporting spectacular we know today is fascinating. It has been recently refurbished and there is plenty to see for all ages Make sure you see the lockers! There is a discount on admission if... More

I visited this museum in April 2014 and it really took my breath away...I am a museum fan but most of them are just a bit boring and not well organized. Not this case! The Olympic museum has been renovated recently and they did a great job. I can truly say that this was the best museum I have ever... More

A very stunning building set in attractive grounds overlooking the lake. On the day we visited there was quite a lot of visitors including many children. Very well behaved but made looking at some of the exhibits a little difficult at times. Suggest you time your visit over lunch time - say between 12.20 and 2.30 when the visitors are... More

The displays were very good, showing past and present equipment in various sports. Furthermore it gave the history past and present of the Olympics. Most interesting, and entertaining.
