Great if you are a fan of the Olympic Games and have been enjoying the last summer ones in London. Not only historical but also interesting face and of course it is all about those great sportsmen and women after all. They are really well remembered here.

The museum is just wonderful, it has everything you want from a museum: history, sculptures, art, real props and interactivity. If I understand well, the museum was renovated not long ago and it does indeed seem pretty new and very swiss made where everything is clean and looks perfect. The museum will take you through the history of the Olympics... More

I'm not particularly into sport, which made it all the more surprising how enjoyable this museum was. There are a great combination of outdoor sculptures, ancient Greek history, then stories, films, artefacts and videos from the entire span of the modern Olympics and interactive activities. I thought it was a well thought out, interesting and engaging museum.

There is everything that you need to see/know about the Olmpics in here (I am astounded about a previous comment suggesting there were no medals or costumes, as there is a very extensive display). The only problem is that there us too much !!! We spent 1-2 hours, but could understand if someone told me they spent 4 or 5... More

A very interesting place, where I have learned a lot about the history of the Olympic Games. It was very interesting seeing the athletes original accessories. I loved the garden and all sculptures there. It is a must see in Lausanne.

The museum was rich in everything Olympic, we spent 3 hours there and could have stayed longer, but it was closing. Every fact you never knew (or thought you knew) regarding the Olympics, its origin, rituals, rebirth and present day trivia. A MUST DO when in Lake Geneva, whether your a sports fan or not!

I felt extremely proud as a Greek, and at the same time I was moved by the videos, and impressed by the original athletes pieces which are displayed. The history of the Olympics is perfectly delivered in the Museum. Simply unique..

I was an elite athlete for 3 years and got cut from the team 3 months before the Beijing Olympics. This museum is awe-inspiring and really does justice to the dedication and pursuit of sport. I do not typically love museums but I spent 3 hours here and left incredibly impressed. I have lived in Lausanne for 18 months now... More

Very impressed by all the Olympic torches. However, limited exhibits of clothing/uniforms, expected a lot of medals (or replicas) but none to be found. Gifts shop was not worth your time unless you need some pins.
