The flagship of the fleet, this is a smart paddle steamer which plies its way eastward from Lausanne to Chateau Chillon. With a Swiss pass, a sail is free. Sadly there was no restaurant service on the day I travelled but there is a bar with snacks available at a very serious price. Enjoyable for the experience but I would... More

We enjoyed our boat ride on an authentic Swiss paddle boat. It was interesting that we could look through a window and observe the operation of the paddles which was quite remarkable. Nice way to spend an afternoon.

I did a few trips on this boat, and the last time I was with a few friends ,which we had the great chance to visit the amazing engine room , what a beautiful experience,I wouldn't mind to do it again,it is a pleasure to watch them working and see that they know what they're doing

If you aren't in a hurry, use the boat to travel to locations around the lake. The lake is rarely rough, and the scenery is stunning. Fun and relaxing.

It seems to be every 2 hours to/from the Chateau. We took the train and bus from Lausanne to the Chateau and then took the boat back. That worked well. The cafeteria in the boat is OK: reasonable prices but very limited selection.

Leisurely cruise over the lake. You can take the fast boat that makes fewer stops or the slower one that stops at many interesting and cute places along the lake shore. Great views.

Absolutely magnificent. I reviewed this ship on the CGN site not seeing this one. Go on the cruise if you have time. Well done to the staff who maintain and love this ship.

We took the boat from Lausanne to Montreux on a beautiful Saturday morning. The view of the vineyards was fantastic. We went with first class seating so we could be on the upper deck. Well worth it. Bring water, a hat and suntan lotion ... it was very sunny. That morning we had shopped at the street market in Lausanne... More
