It is extremely expensive to eat in the little coffee shop on top of the Matterhorn. Check the price of coffee and cake before ordering. Outrageous??? The sites were wonderful. The walk down was wonderful. Timing of the trains were not convenient.

We arrived around 2pm and went to the lifts to take us up to view the Matterhorn, The lifts to take you there are away from the city centre about a 15min walk and next to the hotel matterhorn focus, once you are up at almost 4,000m it has excellent views. One thing to note however is that it does... More

well worth the ride to the top 13,000 feet on the paradise tram. Skiers even in august. Many trails to walk and great scenery

Enjoyed the ride in cable car from bottom to up. It is 99 euros for matterhorn, glacier view and the ice museum. Need to change the car after viewing matterhorn to climb for the glaciers. One strange thing i noticed was that most of the stops of cable car are not manned. So get your doubt clarified at the start... More

You need to stay a few days in order to catch the mountain in its various aspects. As you hike the trails around the valleys. The Matterhorn is always in view.

What can you say, the mountain dominates the town and it is impossible not to take photo after photo as the cahnging weather patterns firstly hide and then reveal all its majesty

As a mountain enthusiast the Matterhorn has long been on my bucket list. This year I was lucky enough to pass by and had the opportunity to visit the area briefly. It certainly is a magnificent sight. I'll be back in the future for a longer stay.

I have been in Zermatt every single year since I was born, either in Summer, Winter or both! You never get bored of seeing the Matterhorn, it's always impressive. I would highly suggest to people to see it before sunrise: when the sun hasn't risen yet, the sky takes that dark blue color. Then, the Matterhorn and its snow sticks... More

The Matterhorn is simply breathtaking. Visited Zermatt in September and had clear views of the mountain during our four day stay. I am astounded by the men and women that risk all to climb this immense mountain.

Spectacular. Be sure to wear good traction shoes or you'll be sliding around the snow/ice! And woolies too! We enjoyed a typical Swiss lunch there
