So I got this amazing opportunity of going to Switzerland on vacations last year. I've always loved to travel and doing outdoor activities cause that way you can really enjoy the beauty and the thrill of being somewhere new. This is beyond my limit of understanting. How can a place be so beautiful and natural at the same time? God... More

Mid may - weather was great and we had clear skies while there (love being lucky). The town is very lovely and while hilly very easy to get around on foot. With it being off season there were some shops etc. closed but upside was no crowds at all. The site of the Matterhorn of course make the town and... More

I had the best time skiing in May, the slopes were almost empty but the weather was amazing. The first day we were meant to be skiing we decided against it as the winds were high, but when we went the next day it was fantastic. We hadn't realised that the slopes close at 2pm in the summer though. If... More

Took the cog railway up to the viewing platform at over 10,210 feet. Absolutely spectacular trip up, leaving the sunshine in Zermatt and travelling up through the tree line, then snow, mountains and valleys all around. Sat in the sunshine, amid the snow, enjoying a glass of Swiss wine. Reasonable cafe, covering all your needs. Totally surreal experience. Would not... More

No words can describe the beauty of this mountain. The Matterhorn is a must-see sight. The snow surrounds and envelopes you as you travel on the train upwards to the Matterhorn. It was a humbling experience and reminds you of the beauty of nature. Zermatt itself although has an increasing amount of tourists in the small town, was very pretty... More

Gorgeous Matterhorn - love the view of it. Best mountain in Switzerland. Luckily we went there on a lovely sunny dat. Enjoyed every moment. Recommend to go to Gornergratt then come down to Riffelberg and Riffelalps to get panoramic view.

To view Matterhorn, you will need to take a train ride to zermac which is a hill resort. It's like a small town there and everything is eco friendly meaning there only gave electric cars and walking and bicycle is the only way of transportation. We stayed a night in a very old style Swiss inn. We manage to walk... More
