Nice view, nice slopes

If are lucky enough, and the sunny shines, prepare to unbelievable views! If there are clouds, the visibility will be about 10 meters.

When you look at the trail map, it looks like you see loops where the gondola ends, it actually is just a stop along the way. We got off too early 2x on our first day (rookie move). The lift takes lots of turns and goes down before going back up and ending.

Exciting cable ride from Zermatt on Mar. 18th, endless scenic view along the way to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, and the best view of the Matterhorn peak from viewing area (3,887 m ASL)

One of the most enjoyable ski experiences I have had. Awesome. It is high up and oxygen in short supply so one good tip is to move slowly, but even for one prone to altitude sickness like myself, this small precaution is adequate. It was cold when we went there too, so layers are important. All in all a real... More

A little kitschy with the ice sculptures, but this unguided tour was fun so you can at least say that you walked around INSIDE a glacier at the top of Europe.

It is a sight to see undoubtedly! You can see almost forever. Absolutely beautiful. We did not eat in the restaurant and was not happy with them charging you to use the restrooms though.

I've been through a few now but it is honestly the best resort one can wish for. I highly recommend it!

I did not like the Zermatt ski area, most of the time you spend in long lines for the big ski cabins or the train. The ski cabins are mostly filled with alcohol breathed skiieers. The streets are crowded with Russians in fur coats. Strange place.
