If you are visiting Zermatt, the Glacier Paradise is a must. We visited on a bright and sunny day. The views were so beautiful! Remember to put on warm clothes because it is cold and it may be windy up there. The observation deck is a must, you can also visit the Glacier Palace with big ice sculptures (even colder... More

The most beautiful place I have visited. The view from the observation desk was outstanding. Inside the palace there are gorgeous ice sculptures, and a throne room made out of ice you can take pictures in, and even a small ice slide. The journey up takes about an hour, but it'll fly by as you take in the beautiful scenery.

Weather can change very fast. Must wear ur woolen clothes especially who r from warmer countries. It gets very cold and wind blows at very high speeds. But its worth every penny.

We had the most beautiful clear day, perfect conditions. The views are what you go to Zermatt to see, if the day is clear you will not be disappointed. From what we've been told it is better in the mor I got as the weather sometimes changes in the afternoon. The high altitude made breathing a little difficult for my... More

Wasn't going to do this at first but glad I did, its 100 franc for a return ticket which is expensive, the views at the top are amazing, the glacier was pretty cool. If you've got the money then this is a must do if you're in Zermatt.

We only took the cable car up to Schwarzsee, as it was less than half price instead of going all the way up to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. The view from Schwarzsee is amazing, the Matterhorn is right in front, there are 2 tiny lakes and a few hiking paths starting here. Also you have a nice view of the village... More

Don't miss this if you are in Switzerland. It's what you came to see! Great photo ops, food and souvenirs available. Trip up and down is great for pictures and overall awesome sights. You can easily see the " tree line".

Do not miss a trip up to the kleine matterhorn to the ice palace , a truly amazing place which will leave you in awe at this incredibly beautiful place. The two long cablecar runs to the summit are stunning ,passing over the immense glaciers arriving at the summit which is 3883 metres high. Movement must be slow as you... More

I was amazed from the trip up, we couch a sunny and bright day..of course it was freezing up there but we were well prepared. I was much more amazed where we got up to the top ! It's not something you can imaging or excepting to see. Worth the money. We head down by walking, the trek was super... More

The weather was not kind but the visit was on our hit list and it was worth doing but unfortunately the altitude affected me and I won't be going that high anywhere again. It is 3880 meters, so do be aware and take care. I won't bore you with how it affected me but it's worth reading about altitude sickness... More
