Access is by cable car aerial tram. The tram is high and steep, but large (carries a lot of skiers). The views are impressive, you can reach and touch the Matterhorn. The top is at almost 13,000 feet.

We went up on the best day of the week weather-wise, and got all the way up to one stop before the Matterhorn, where we were told it was too windy and we had to go back. Now, I know the weather is very unpredictable, especially at the top of a mountain, but the Swiss seem to have a service... More

Take a ride on a highest cable car in Europe. Feel and see the amazing view from the the mountains. Once you reach the top you you feel like you are in heaven.... After that, get your breath back, sit and relax at the restaurant with a very friendly and helpfull staff. Monika (the counter that sold us a ticket... More

All three excursions that we undertook were quite similar. Mt Titlis, Jungfraujoch and Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. I rate it the highest as it is easy to reach, travel time from Zermatt is quite less. A round trip can be done within half a day, where as in the other two places it consumes the whole day. Also it offers a... More

If you're in Zermatt, you probably came for the skiing. I was afraid that being in late April there wouldn't be much snow left but there were still lots of runs available! It was the greatest snow but considering how late in the season it was it was still good. There are also plenty of good restaurants and bars at... More

Perfect snow with perfect views. The run down Ventina (number 7) is probably one of the longest runs you will ever do.
