If you don't do anything else when in Zermatt then you have to go one one of the helicopter tours. Flying through the valley, over ice glaciers and circling the summit of the Matterhorn at over 4000m high is such an amazing experience you will want to do it time and time and time again.

The helicopter tour of Zermatt and the Matterhorn was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Friendly staff, seasoned pilots, and incredible vistas.

Last April 2014, we offered our kids (8 & 6 years old) a 30 minute flight over Zermatt. They were delighted! A unique experience. The best way to approach the Matterhorn! Easy booking. Kind and warm welcome at the helibase. The pilot talks about his work and the safety rules in an attractive and accessible way. (we were just the... More

What a spectacular experience, swooping in-between mountains for stunning vistas, panoramas, and of course the grand prize of surreal views of the Matterhorn! We actually ended up going twice because on our first trip climbers frantically signaled to us that a climber had fallen to his death so our pilot needed to urgently drop us back off at the base... I had just finished a weeks climbing and wanted to show off to my wife. We needed to change the 30 minute flight plan a bit. The pilot could not have been better. The whole experience was huge fun. Just do it.

What an awesome experience! We took a 20-minute flight with 4 members of our family, which our hotel (Monte Rosa) booked for us. It was a spur of the moment decision to book, so we felt very fortunate to get an appointment on very short notice. The pilot was quiet, but friendly. We got amazing pictures and video of the... For all who get to stay overnight in Zermatt, do wake up early around 5am to catch the sunrise....depending on where you stay overnight, the best is that you can see the Matterhorn from your room or balcony...or anywhere around the hotel. The views are magnificent if the sky is clear and if you are lucky to view the sun... More

This experience was the pinnacle of an amazing time in Zermatt. The Air Zermatt trip round the Matterhorn for 20mins was out of this world! The pilot was very informative and friendly, the customers need to be aware of delays due to Emergencies, as we were, but this is ok no fault of Air Zermatt. I would highly recommended this... More

My Husband is a pilot & manic aviation tragic. We hired a private helo for 30 min to ourselves, and the experience was beyond fabulous. Air Zurmatt to the summit of the Matterhorn ... he rated this as one of his top 5 ever!
