Alpine handled our Zermatt adventure from landing in Zurich till we left. David took care of all the details and made sure that we knew how to get to the train, taxi, Hotel Bristol, best places to get food and of course - that we saw all the kilometers of trails on Zermatt. My 2 boys (19/21 and I) had... More

Huge ski place, very nice and amazingly fun. However, it is very expensive place but worth every penny. It is hard for me to put into words how much fun this place is. I can honestly say it changed my whole perspective on skiing and was the single coolest thing I have ever done. But beyond that, it is hard... More

We had good experience with this rental shop, Matterhorn Sport, in the past but had a terrible experience this year. The bindings of touring skis I rented were not adjusted properly and couldn't put the boots in. I had to make adjustment myself so not to waste a touring day, but it ruined my day as I couldn't trust the... More

The great thing about this gondola is the sheer height and distance it attains. Clean and efficient. Good for non skiers as well giving the chance to see and almost on the glacier. Be warned a bit of a scramble to get on the early departures.

Skiied in Zermatt last week, had a great time as the weather was fantastic; but felt totally ripped off by the cost of the area lift pass price - around £300 for 6 days!!!...... the most expensive in the world! !!!.....its archaic, slow and getting to and from the slopes takes forever, slowly transported by overcrowded electric buses.......... The very... More

Where else can you stand close to the edge 10,300 feet above sea level looking out to the far horizon at 90 miles distant??? From this point Italy is just feet away, breath taking view abound.

I have a few words on zermatt itslef. It is very expensive, very. The mountains are not very impressive and the trains and logistics of the tracks are such that it seemed that you always have to either carry your skies on the shoulder or skii uphill to get to the next skii lift. Who planned this resort no one... More

The moment we got of the train we fell in love with the place. We then did a sightseeing tour of the village, including a visit to the Matterhorn Museum. Since we were in Zermatt for a day we went to Gornergrat. We could not do much because of the rain. We will definitely be visiting Zermatt again.
