I stayed here in the winter, when it is only accessble by snowshoes or Skitouring. This is not a hotel, it is a monestary run by monks with accomodations and dining. There are dormitory-style rooms and communal dining. There is also a beautiful chapel and an interesting museum. There is incredible backcountry ski touring accesible from here. I understand that... This is a fantastic place. High up in a col on the Grand St Bernard pass you'll find this Hospice / Monastery. In the winter, when I stayed, it's only accessible by foot / ski, but in the summer you can drive there. I recommend a private room if you can, as I don't really like sleeping in dorms (snorers...).... More
