A pleasant walk round the edge of the Lake. I have no idea why is is number one. It is a small civic park with lovely lake view and a few flowerbeds. Good for and evening stroll and an ice cream. Be careful about these as the ones we had were more like sorbets

When in Lugano, my wife and I usually walk the stretch from Eden hotel to Parco Civico (about 1500 meters). The walk is rewarding, especially the part in the park - beautiful plants and varied scenery. When here, you are not far from the most popular pizzerias and pasta restaurants in town. Try Argentino for a thin-crust Italian-style pizza.

The walk from the main entry to the playground is full of beautiful trees and flowers. My daughter loved the huge deer sculpture. The playground has a huge metal slides that are far too infrequent in the US. We literally spent hours here.

This park is situated next to the lake and the city centre. It is leafy and green with reading areas(seats set out for you to recline in) chilefrens playgrounds, swimming areas in the lake. There is an abundance of swans(A little fierce) and ducks. The gardens are well cared for and colourful with heaps of photo opportunities.

The park is particularly well maintained with many species of plants and trees and lovely flower bed arrangements. The back drop of the lake and the few sculptures make the park a lovely experience.

I felt very safe walking along the lakeside gardens and enjoyed the unusual sculptures. Nice walk to get to the center of town where all the restaurants and shops are located.

This is a gorgeous small city park. It borders the lake, is full of beautiful gardens and statuary. Other sculptures and art dot the park.

it's not far from cable station and you can easily walk along the lakeshore. The park itself is well maintained and you can witness the true relax life of local folks here. There's sufficient greenery coverage and variety of trees/flowers making the walk even healthy.

Just a short walk from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Sumptuous views of the lake, beautifully tended gardens, great for both people watching and relaxation.
