If you are scared of heights then it is pretty scary, but this cable car is amazing especially seeing that it is 124 years since it was built (how did they do it?). The first section to about a third of the way up the mountain is steep enough, but when you change cable cars at that point, it becomes... More

This was just one of the beautiful places we've been to. Would recommend it to anyone. We had our own car and parked it in their parking area. You can spend atleast 3 to 4 hours in the mountain. The you can look around Lugano considering the parking is free with the attraction ticket.

Wonderful views of the Alps and lake Lugano as well as other lakes around. Nice restaurant on top - you can relax and enjoy the view while having a nice drink and/or meal.

Amazing experience! Never climbed a mountain before let alone in winter times! We went there in January so temperatues were cold, there was ice and the funicular was NOT working. Neither the restaurant was open at the time so take note. Anyhow we still wanted to walk it up, which took us about 3.5hours from finding the way to actually... More

Really amazing views from the top. Go on a clear day and don't miss climbing to the roof of the church and you'll be rewarded by 360d breathtaking views, the beauty is dizzying. Near the station is a small cafe and a nice playground to occupy the kids while waiting for your ride down. Check the schedule because after 18:00... More

No reduced price even for a 10 year old. Unhelpful (rude) male staff member at cashier office- We walked to the next town and back up the hill again and enjoyed the autumn trees and fog.

Great restaurant when you alight from the funicular. Walking up to the church and then upstairs to the rooftop viewing area was absolutely amazing. The 360 degrees view was stunning.
