This mountain was incredible. It was my first visit to Switzerland and I was so impressed. It puts Aspen and Vail down a notch on my list of great places to ski.

I spent 40 minutes to be on that slope because first you have to take a bus and then there is a huge line. There are too many ice and somewhere you have to walk. But maybe it's good for skiers..

Nice small restaurants and bars from top to end of the slope fro refreshment or relax with tea or hot vine.

Well, spectacular when it is clear--my son skiied there when it was clear (great photos) but I went up on a day where there was no visibility due to snow and wind.

Great trip on 2 cable cars - starting from Surlej ( there is a free bus from Silvaplana to the base station)
The weather was beautiful - at the top it was still 16 degrees celsius.
Magnificent views as far as the Matterhorn.
Our hotel gave us free passes for the cable cars which saved us 80 francs.
