Best location for the view. The new terrace is great and having dinner overlooking the Egadin valley is a very special experience.

Excellent hiking trip, though some of the signs of the philisophers walk are confusing. Beside the romantic hotel, it has an igloo dorf with sleeping and eating possibilities.
The view of St Moritz, Silvaplana lake and the valley is the worth the trip up. Also look for the monthly full moon hike, if the sky is clear it is a...

This slope is very dangerous, bumpy and icy; it does not seem to be very well maintained. They were using unpadded boards to fence off some of the areas. My daughter and her once just hit such a wooden wall, which led to a badly sprained ankle - crutches, plaster etc.. On the ride to the "Klinik Gut", my daughter...

This was an excellent day out. Easy to get to the bottom station, trains ran regularly, wonderful views and walk at the top. Strongly recommended.

There is no skiing on this hill, but lots of km of winter walking, a wide area for snow shoe walking (just choose a summit around) and last but not least, probably the steepest sled ride far around 4.5 km with 800 m hight difference. I am a trained sled rider and was really impressed by the pick up of...

Breakfast was fantastic, staff were friendly and rooms very comfortable...we had the best room with lounge and balcony...great value and really comfortable- quiet sophistication and not a tacky gold tap in sight. Arriving at the...

This is certainly a place not to be missed if you are staying in St. Moritz and surroundings. The 4.2 km track is reasonable steep and offers great views, plenty of curves and lots of fun. Once back down, you can spare the laboriously climb and just take the half-hourly running lift instead. You will need either the Engadin Skipass...

Was looking to do something when taking a break from the slopes and saw an ad for tobogganing up the Muottas Muragl and the wife and I jumped on it. Man what a rush! 4.2 km of pure fun. Would recommend it to anyone...and pay for the all day ticket as you will go more than once. Toboggans can be...

At the top in the restaurant after all other guests had left.
The funkytickler ride up the mountain is v'cool and was a great lead in.
Dinner is fairly rustic and plain but tasty none the less. Not haute cuisines but decent fare.
