We were on a rail tour so only had one day in the resort. I asked the tourist board lady where would she go and she recommended this. As we had free travel that day we did several things but this was the best with train up and then a lovely hotel with a well designed terrace with glass screens... More

This mountain top adventure in the Engadin region of Saint Moritz is like a secret hiding place away from the rest of the world. You can go up there on a funicular and arrived at the Romantik Hotel. Then order a cup of cappuccino, Latte or any other hot beverage, sandwich and some chocolates at the eatery before embarking on... More

Excellent station for walking and hiking in a high mountain environment. Astounding views, excellent food and setting in the mountain-top restaurant. Great start to some great wallks i.e. Chamanna Segantini. Will go back again for sure

We actually stumbled across this funicular stop during exploring the areas on the buses. As we had a free 2 day pass for all the local cable cars, funiculars, buses and trains (before booking your hotel for this region ask if they give you that, they are fantastic!), we caught the funicular up this for free - to the top... Ride the funicular to the top and have lunch and a glass of wine overlooking St. Moritz! If you go up on a clear day, the views are beautiful!

Great views despite the cold and stormy wind and snow. Walking back to Languard lift, the sky cleared and we had occasional superb views of the Bianco Ridge on Bernina

We stayed in St Moritz at Badrutts Palace and are active folks. We found bus 2 to the base and took the vernacular to the top of Muottas Muragl. The views of the valley and lakes are breathtaking. After many photos we started our hike over to the chairlift back down to Pontresina. The 1st part of the trail is... More

We were traveling with our one year old and didn't anticipate the playground we found at the peak of the mountain. This was so much fun playing on the swing and the slide with the amazing backdrop of the Swiss Alps behind. The view is not as stunning as some of the other surrounding peaks, but it is a "must"... It all starts with an outstanding train ride up to the Muottas Muragl.Try to get a in to the front part of the train as it is just faboulous to see the engineering capabilities that was put in place while building this train infrastructure. On top, you have a great view over the Engadine lakes and mountains and if the... More
